Uncle Bruce remembers a George Thomlinson, probably a half-brother of his father, coming to stay with them in the 1930s. He was George Edward Thomlinson born 27 Sep 1918 in Jamesport, Daviess County, Missouri, died 05 Jun 1995, SSN 333-12-5031.

From his SS-5 form, we know that his father was James Thomlinson, his mother was Amy Smith, and in 1939 he was working for the Automatic Pump and Softener Corp, at 1901 Kishwaukee St, Rockford, IL. He lived at 1401 Kishwaukee St.

In the 1920 Census, there was a James Thomlinson, married to Amy, with children Myrtle and George, living in Daviess County, Missouri.

In the 1930 Census, there was a George and Myrtle Thomlinson, ages 11 and 12, listed as sister- and brother-in-law (respectively!) of W Drummond (?), head of household. His wife was Dora, probably James W's daughter and James Harrison's sister. They were in Jackson township, Daviess County, Missouri, where Mary Phillips, James W's ex-wife had come from.
