Pitt County Middle School and High School Honor Bands (return to top)
Top band students are selected to perform in an all-county honor band. MAEC is proud to work with area band directors for the third consecutive year in coordinating this event for Pitt County's most talented students. All schools in the county are invited to participate. Students receive the opportunity to perform with the best from each school in a large concert band. The honor bands rehearse for 2 days with guest conductors and conclude with a concert of jazz, pop and classical repertoire. Information for participating may be received through your school band director or by calling MAEC.
