When the crew meet up with Crais, the renegade Peacekeeper Captain tells them that he intends to alter Talyn's main weapon to something less destructive. With tensions running high, it is hardly surprising that when the arms dealers turn up, they got shot out of the sky by Talyn's main gun. The problem is though that another Plokavian vessel turns up and manages to capture Crichton, Aeryn, D'Argo, Zhaan and Stark as they make their exit from Talyn. The dealers aim for justice, seeking the learn the truth from their captives, but when everyone's stories conflict, the entire crew is threatened with execution.

Arriving on a pod, Aeryn goes aboard Talyn. She meets with Crais, who has Talyn scan her for weapons. Unarmed, as requested, she waits until Crais engages privacy mode, and removes his neural link to Talyn, and then brings the other crew aboard, Crichton, D'Argo, Zhaan and Stark. Crais gets straight to business, telling them why he invited them aboard. He says that Talyn's destructive power is rapidly increasing as the young Leviathan hybrid grows. He can only pursuade Talyn not to use these weapons, his control is limited. As a result, he wishes to change the weapon for a less lethal variety, and to do this, he wants Aeryn's help.

Trivia Quiz:
References and continuity:
Crichton: "There's just nothing new in the universe, is there? Its the same everywhere - good cop, bad cop."
A commonly used method amongst police in films. One cop pretends to go over the edge, making wild threats, and looking like he's about to explode, whilst the other pretends to hold his partner back, warning him what would happen. The "good cop" would then offer the suspect a deal, a quick way to stop the "bad cop" from loosing it, and this would often be enough to get the suspect to talk.
- Talyn and Crais escaped from the crew of Moya back at the beginning of the season, in the episode Mind The Baby. Since then, the pair have had a great deal of time adapting to the neural link between ship and captain. They rely on eachother now, and will not be pursuaded otherwise by the crew of Moya.
- Zhaan refers to Maldis when talking to Stark about dispersal. The powerful sorcerer was dispersed in That Old Black Magic, but returned in the episode Picture If You Will.
- The crew frequently mention the Halosian encounter from the episode Out Of Their Minds, where at first it was believed that Crais had fired upon the Halosian ship unprovoked, but it later transpired that he was merely defending himself, and actually stopped Talyn from completely destroying the Halosian ship.
Funny or interesting quotes:
Crichton: "Oh God, I missed you so much! Gah, I was so worried about you! (Then whispers) Play along..."
Aeryn: (Flatly) "I missed you too John. Hold me."
Expecting them to be observed, Crichton tries to talk secretly with Aeryn, and she, erm, plays along with even less emotion showing than normal.
D'Argo: "Why don't we break Crais's neck?!"
Crichton: "I am *down* with that."
In D'Argoland, he is the leader, a massively dominant male, and Crichton follows him everywhere, giving full support to every suggestion. Well, that's how it appeared in that quote.
D'Argo: "Where the hezmana are we?"
Crichton: "Some kind of floating hubcap."
D'Argo: "Houbcap? Where's Aeryn."
Crichton: "Good question."
D'Argo: "Bad answer."
The two men try to work through things, and its really nice to see them caring about the same things, they are growing to be good friends.

Aeryn: "Do you think its possible? That Stark survived?"
Crichton: "Since I got here, I've seen a lot of impossible things."
Its absolutely true - in his time here, Crichton has seen thousands of things he never thought possible, but this time, the rest of the crew think the same, and that's a bad sign.

| Plokavians | | The Plokavians are a species with great weapons technology, though much of it is either illegal or at the very least, highly dangerous. They were responsible for arming the races that destroyed many worlds, including Stark's own planet. The Plokavians themselves are ugly humanoid creatures, with skin that looks like it has been severely burned by acid. It drips off them like melting candle wax, as they move around, and talk in their harsh and penetrating voices. The species does however seem intent on maintaing the law, and look for justice whenever necessary.. | |

Personal Opinion:
I really enjoyed this episode, as it was great seeing things from each of the character's perspectives. They really brought out the features that make each of the characters unique. It was a shame though that with such a great idea that they didn't bring aboard Chiana and Rygel as well. Whilst Chiana would have no doubt been checking everything out and looking for things to "borrow" it would have been fantastic to see Rygel in his defence during the trial by the Plokavians. The lies he could have told! Great stuff. Ah well, the other characters still did a great job.
Though I trust Aeryn's recounting the most, closely followed by Crichton's, I think the most interesting were really D'Argo's, Stark's and Zhaan's. D'Argo's was just plain funny, whilst Zhaan's was frustrating and annoying. Finally, Stark's was frantic as expected, making a nice rounded set of tales. The end result was as expected, and admittedly worked out very well, and it was interesting to see that through all that Zhaan actually believed Stark was guilty until she learned the truth from Crichton.
