Trivia Quiz:
References and continuity:
Crichton: "Did you ever hear of KFC?"
Akkor: "KFC?"
Crichton: "It is, to my knowledge, unique in the universe, and unique is always valuable. Now, we have managed to procure all eleven secret ingredients."
First off, KFC, or Kentucky Fried Chicken is the popular fast food chain with a large variety of chicken dishes. The secret ingredients were an advertising ploy. More interestinly though is that John's words, talking of KFC being unique, were virtually identical to those of Scorpius whilst describing Crichton's wormhole abilities back in I Do, I Think. Was this the Scorpius clone shining through, or was it Crichton's sense of irony?
Crichton: "Bonnie and Clyde, oh no, forget that one, was a bad ending."
Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, lovers (probably) and bank robbers in the classic 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde. It ended badly because they were hunted relentlessly by the FBI who brought about their bloody eexecution.
Crichton: "Are you sure this is going to work?"
Stark: "Yes it'll work, I spent too much time thinking it through."
Crichton: "I spent too much time thinking through the Farscape project..."
Crichton points out the problems of over-planning, as the little things can cause havoc. In the case of the Farscape project, it was all perfect, except for an unexpected electromagnetic wave, which sent Crichton spiralling through a wormhole.
Crichton: "Hey Stark, riddle me this: what's black and white and black and white and black and white?"
This is a reference to the Aurora chair that spins whilst it works. Both John and Stark sat in it, and would have seen Scorpius's black and white figure spinning by on each revolution of the chair.
Aeryn: "What are you doing?"
Crichton: "Doing what guys do best - looking for Baywatch... Better yet, the Discovery Channel."
First off, Baywatch, supposedly popular amongst the men, obviously because of its female lifeguards in skimpy swimming costumes, but it hardly made up for the rubbish storyline. Then, when Crichton sees Scorpius with Natira, he refers to the Discovery Channel, where you can find out pretty much anything about anything, no doubt including the mating habits of strange creatures.
Crichton: "Hiya Braca! Tell me, is the rematch ever better than the original fight?"
If Crichton and Braca were to fight it would be a rematch because of their encounter aboard the gift storage ship of ro-NA in I Do, I Think.
Scorpius: "And whispering advice... I trust its saved you once or twice since escaping my Gammak base."
Scorpius talks of the chip's ability to help Crichton, witnessed in many episodes, none more so than in Won't Get Fooled Again where Scorpius saves Crichton from the Scarren, since escaping Scorpius's Gammak base in The Hidden Memory.
- John talks about being the reverse King Arthur. The boy who was made King for pulling the mystical sword from the stone, Crichton gets the same treatment, but for the opposite thing. He kissed Katralla, putting the sword into the stone.
- When told that he will be made into a statue, Crichton knows it would mean never seeing his family again, and also refers to American actress Cameron Diaz (famous for roles in films like Charlie's Angels and Gangs of New York), as well as demon fighting Buffy the vampire slayer, played by another young American Actress, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Sarah also had roles in movies such as Cruel Intentions and Scooby Doo.
Funny or interesting quotes:
D'Argo: "When you've asked me to do something, did I ever question if it was possible?"
Crichton: "D'Argo..."
D'Argo: "No. I didn't. You're cowards. All of you."
With D'Argo, the opportunity to save his son must be taken, and he can't understand why his friends won't take the risk with him, especially Crichton.
Aeryn: "That's not Scorpius, you're having visions again. Have a look! See?."
Crichton: "... Sorry about that."
Aeryn: "And I'm worried about D'Argo..."
Crichton's visions of Scorpius are becoming more and more frequent, worrying Aeryn, though D'Argo is the one that's been captured.
Cricthon: "This will work, trust me. We just have to find a place to get our clothes off."
Out of context, that one's quite funny, but really its Crichton discussing a plan with Aeryn to disguise themselves in enemy uniforms.
Crichton: "Aeryn. I have to tell you how I feel. I have to tell you..."
Aeryn: "No you don't."
Crichton: "Yes I do, I do."
Aeryn: (more softly) "No you don't..."
At this point, Aeryn doesn't need to hear the words to know how Crichton feels, but Crichton had been desperate to tell her he loved her since realising he may not survive this encounter with Scorpius.

Crichton: "I got a piece'a you in me. Now you got a piece'a me in you!"
Its been a long journey for the pair, and they really do share a lot these days. Scorpius always seems to have the upper hand though, even in these circumstances.

| New Aliens: |

| Natira | | The only member of her species we see, and presumably female, this blue/grey alien has some kind of an exo-skeleton or shell that covers her whole body. She also has an array of pincers on her head that normally stick down, but can spread out when needed. She clearly owes Scorpius a lot, and this is likely because she would probably make a valuable prize to the racist Peacekeepers. She also seems to have a very close history with Scorpius, of which more is revealed as this trilogy progresses. |

Personal Opinion:
Last season the crew were desperate to save Aeryn after she had been stabbed by a Peacekeeper, infected by an intellant virus. This led them into the hands of Scorpius, and a fantastic end to the first season. This time things are taken ten steps further, upping the danger and excitement beyond belief, starting with this fantastic bank robbery. All the season 2 plotlines come together as Stark returns, Scorpius's chip is properly unveiled, and the crew try to gain ehough money to rescue D'Argo's son, Jothee.
It was a shame that things didn't go that well between D'Argo and Crichton, but these things are soon resolved as the trilogy continues. For this episode though, the main focus is perhaps Crichton's struggle with the neural clone of Scorpius, which almost gets him to change a cooling rod for Scorpius at the end of the episode. It'll be very interesting to see what part this chip will play in the remaining episodes of the season.
