Braca was originally serving aboard the command carrier, under the control of Captain Crais. However, when Scorpius made his move to take control, Braca was quick to support the new leadership, and thanks to his instrumental role in getting the crew behind Scorpius, he was rewarded with a promotion. He then began service with Scorpius, chasing Crichton across the uncharted territories in pursuit of wormhole knowledge. Whilst he may not at first understand the importance of the technology, he learns quickly from Scorpius, and knows what must be done.

During Season 3, Braca gains Scorpius's confidence, and learns of the seriousness of the Scarren threat, and that without the wormhole technology, the Peacekeepers are likely to lose. He supports Scorpius with tremendously loyalty from here, and has several encounters of his own with Crichton (though he is unable to hurt the human, a major disadvantage). However, his loyalty suddenly seems to shift in the episode Sacrifice when Commandant Grayza takes over Scorpius's command. He treats the Scarren half breed with contempt, showing that he preferred his new role under Grayza.

Oddly, the expression "under Grayza" became more fitting. The strange alien leader used her pheremone control to lure Braca to her, engaging in what Peacekeepers call "recreation". This had several purposes, with the most obvious being that it was a good way to get an honest view of what the crew were thinking and doing, but also as it gave her a means to communicate with the Skreeth in season 4's Terra Firma (by telepathically linking through Braca's mind without him knowing). However, despite this clever control, we find that his loyalty to Scorpius had never faded. He manages to secretly meet with Scorpius, and reveals Grayza's plans for the Peacekeepers.
