Grayza was born on a command carrier, and since then has achieved the pinnacle of Peacekeeper advancement, rising rapidly through the ranks. Beginning as a strategic tactician until neither captain, vice admiral or admiral rank could hold her, she is now a flag officer of the highest station within the military establishment. When Grayza enters a room, nobody (with the possible exceptions of Scorpius and Chrichton) will stand in her way, each submitting to Grayza's powerful presence. Politically minded, connected, well educated and much more, she could someday become the leader of all Peacekeepers.

First arriving on the scene at the end of Season 3, her views were clearly different from those of Scorpius. Not yet understanding how good Crichton is at escaping, and not placing as much value on wormhole technology as Scorpius, Grayza took away Scorpius's command at the beginning of Season 4, and then began her own pursuit of Crichton. Discovering that her pheremone techniques don't work on Crichton in Resurrection, she tries new methods, and manages to get a spy aboard Moya in Kansas, but again her attempt fails. Her attention is diverted elsewhere later in the season as she tries to create a truce between the Peacekeepers and the Scarrens. Meeting with Ahkna, the Scarren fourth in command, she begins preparations for an alliance, and although a Scarren betrayal seems inevitable, it is actually Crichton who prevents a truce from happening. The human's intervention in La Bomba results in Grayza leaving aboard her Command Carrier, and escaping the Scarren base. However, her command ends here as Braca takes charge, and hands back control to Scorpius.
