| Centuries ago, the vampire Angelus caused pain and suffering across the globe, his victims numbering in the thousands, until he encountered gypsies who cursed him with a soul. This vampire, Angel, is forced to remember all the pain he has caused, and seeks redemption by helping people.
Living in Los Angeles, together with his friends and fellow fighters, he fights evil, and protects the people of the city. With messages received from guides, the "Powers That Be", the group have been able to prevent many disasters.
