| Wolverine Real Name: Logan Mutant Ability: Wolverine posesses hightened animal senses, as well as a healing factor that allows him to heal from bodily harm. Logan's skeleton is laced with Adimantium, the hardest metal know to man, making his bones unbreakable. He also has three razor-sharp 12-inch claws comming out of each hand just above the Knuckles. Group Identification: The New X-Men Currnent Status: Active Wolverine is a battle hardened warrior. His healing factor has slown his aging, allowing him to accumulate more fighting experience than any other mortal in the Marvel Universe. But his past is sketchy to him, remembering only bits and pieces. Wolverine started off working for his home contry Canada's super team Alpha Flight, But quit the team when invited to join the X-Men. When he came to Xavier, he helped Logan overcome his beastial nature, and is helping him find out about his past. Wolverine lost his Adimantium skeleton when Magneto sucked to Adimantium out of his body, pushing his Healing Factor to its limits. When Logan went into his next battle, it was revealed to everone including Logan that he had claws made of bone, and that the claws are part of his original mutant power. Logan took a short leave from the team to collect his thoughts, but was soon back in action. A few years after Wolverine's Adimantium skeleton was removed, it was restored to him. Wolverine was kidnapped by Apocolypse, and replaced by a Skrull double. Apocolypse put Adimantium back into Logan, and turned him into Death, the fourth Horsemen of Apocolypse. He was fieed from Apocolypses grasp by Archangel, and he helped the other X-Men defeat Apocolypse. Wolverine has joined the New X-Men team, and helps teach a new generation of muntants to control thier powers. Logan has also always had an interest in Jean Grey, and with a growing gap between Scott and Jean, Logan might have a chance at getting the woman of his dreams. |
