| White Queen Real Name: Emma Frost Mutant Ability: Emma is a powerful telepath, meaning she can control others thoughts and communicate with the power of her mind. Emma has reccently developed a second power. Emma's skin can turn diamond hard, making her practically invunerable. Group Identification: The New X-Men Current Status: Active Emma Frost was once one of the X-Men's greatest enemies as a member of the Mysterious Hellfire Club. Emma used her formidable mental abilities to combat the X-Men for years, until a threat emerged that threatened herself and the X-Men. She convinced Professor X to ally with her and her team of Hellions to discover the new threat against the two. No sooner did they ally than did the threat emerge. Trevor Fitzroy, a mutant from the future, was a member of a group of powerful muntants known as the Upstarts. He was buying for the title of King of the Upstarts, and with the title, the prize of immortality. He had inlisted a group of Sentinels to destroy The X-Men and the Hellions, and was determined to win the title of King. The Sentinels invaded the Hellfire Club, and attacked the X-Men and Hellions. During the battle almost all of the Hellions were slaughtered, and Emma was severely injured, and sent into a coma. Emma's body was taken to the X-Mansion where her body sat for years. Emma eventually awakened from her coma, and decided to change her ways. She joined the X-Men, and taught the new students of the next gen X-team, Generation X. When Generation X disbanded, Emma went to Genosha to teach. While teaching there, Genosha was eraticated by giant Sentinels. Emma's new powers emerged, saving her life, but she was buried under the rubble of Genosha. When she was saved by Beast and Phoenix, she rejoined the X-men and currently is an instructor at Xavier's. |
