REFLECTIONS ON STANDARD I
CRITIQUES
Artifact One for Standard I:  Authoring Tools PowerPoint

This artifact addressess TF - I.A and was created to teach my peers what authoring tools are.  The purpose of this presentation was to show what knowledge I have gained about authoring tools  and what the benefits of them are.  This artifact fulfills the requirements for Standard I because it demonstrates my ability to help other teachers identify technology resources and help them integrate these resources into their class.  I feel that this artifact demonstrates how I have stayed abreast with current technology trends and terminology
Artifact Two for Standard II:  PowerPoint Demonstration

This artifact demonstartes how I have satisfied TF - I.B.  This PowerPoint was designed to demonstarte the different components of PowerPoint to a group of my  peers.  The beauty of this artifact is that it can also be used to teach students how to use the program.  This standard and artifacts that go along with it are essential in creating learning environments that both teachers and students can feel comfortable.  If teachers do not feel comfortable using the technology, they will just choose not to use it.  If the teachers are afraid to integrate the technology because they aren't comfortable, then the students will never receive the opportunities to incorporate this powerful tool effectively
