Standards
For the past eight years I have taught Language Arts and Social Studies. During that time, I have found many ways to stay active in the school community. By taking on roles such as: Student Council Advisor, Technology Cadre Member, Drama Club Advisor, Boys & Girls Basketball Coach, Junior Police Advisor, Video Yearbook Advisor, and New Teacher Mentor, I have been able to maintain a close working relationship with students and faculty alike. I am probably most proud of my role as head girls basketball coach at Union Hill High School. During my time as head coach our record improved year after year and many of my players have gone on to play at the collegiate level.
I have recently stepped down as head coach in order to finish the Masters program at NJCU in the area of Educational Technology. I am on target to graduate in May of 2006. Upon graduation, I have aspirations of starting my own consulting firm that will provide in-service training for school districts near and far in integrating technology throughout the curriculum.
During my spare time, I enjoy going to watch my former high school players in their college games. I also enjoy travelling to various countries and exploring their history and culture. By nature I'm very socialable and enjoy the company of good friends.
