Fisterbottoms Looking For 3 out of 4 in '06

The Fisterbottoms have brought home the Jackson Cup for the second time in the past three years, after an impressive showing in the finals against the Agitators. They finished the regular season with the exact same record as they had in the 2004 season, a mark of (26-16), which was good enough to land them the number one seed throughout the playoffs. A series victory over the Snappers in five games gave them the chance to win their second Jackson Cup, and they took full advantage, winning the series in seven games.

The 2006 Fisterbottoms are poised to make another run towards a championship. They are returning several key players such as Albert Pujols, Johan Santana, Vladimir Guerrero, Jake Peavy, and Miguel Tejada. Their young catcher Victor Martinez has shown great improvement, and looks to be one of the best catchers in all of baseball. These players along with guys like Jason Isringhausen in the bullpen, and Carl Crawford give the Fisterbottoms a great core of players to use in the 2006 season.

The Fisterbottoms will have the ninth overall selection in the 2006 draft. They will be looking to add a little help in the outfield, but after that they currently have a fairly complete roster, so they can really go in any direction that they choose.

The Fisterbottoms will be competing against the Agitators in the Jackson Weite League Western Division. It should be a great race between to of the leagues best teams.
