Blue Hayes Try to Minimize Embarassment in 2006 The Blue Hayes finished the 2005 season with the worst record in Jackson Weite League history (13-29). They were the most fundamentally flawed team in the league, and could not seem to ever get over the hump, and start to play good baseball. After winning the 2004 Jackson Cup they took a severe fall from a contender to a cellar dweller. The reason that the Blue Hayes will be trying desperately to avoid a 2006 catastrophe is that despite being the worst team ever in 2005, their 2006 team looks as though it could be worse. They don't have any pitching threats, and their only feared offensive threats are Andruw Jones and Jeff Kent. The Blue Hayes will have the second overall pick in the Free Agent Player draft. They will be looking for anything and everything to help their mess of a roster. The Blue Hayes are going to be competing in the Jackson Weite League's Eastern Division, and they are going to need some sort of miracle to have any chance of winning it, or going to the playoffs. |
