1937年12月，日軍攻佔南京，進行長越六周的大屠殺，其間多達三十萬人被殺。本文主要介紹侵華日軍南京大屠殺遇難同胞紀念館的建館起因及過程，並詳實描述了該館的基本陳列，以及該館在從事場館建設、開展對外宣傳活動和學術研究、舉辦展覽等各方面的基本做法。

Abstract：In December l937, the Japanese army occupied Nanjing and launched a massacre lasting more than six weeks, slaughtering as many as 300,000 people. Summarizing the reasons for and the process of establishing the Memorial Hall, this article also describes in detail the basic displays of the hall, the construction of the galleries, the launching of external promotion programmes and academic researches, as well as the organization of exhibitions.
