Reviews....
Ok, your probably wondering what to expect from my episode reviews, well they will be longer than the ones I've posted for series two. They basically be a record of my thoughts of the episode, usually in no real order, just as they occur to me.
1PM - 2PM
"After six long months (the longest of our life, you might say), UK fans finally have some new 24 to fill our sad little lives, instead of endlessly rewatching series one and two on DVD (ok maybe that was just me)"
2PM - 3PM
"Jack is seen loading up a shotgun, why we didn't see it during the action scene, I'm not sure, to be honest...Jack with a pump action shotgun is just poetry in motion"
3PM - 4PM
"Back at CTU, there is another meeting!!!, anyone get the feeling they really don't want us to forget whats going on?"
4PM - 5PM
"The real meat of this episode was Chase showing just how similar he is to Jack"
5PM - 6PM
"Jack die episode 5, oh come on!!, what are we, born yesterday!"
6PM - 7PM
"The CTU Meeting - after a brief restbite last episode, this annoying writers tool...continues"
7PM - 8PM
"all the tension in the world couldn't really save the rest of the episode, which when you boil things down amounted to little more than padding and positioning of pieces so the writers could reveal a cliffhanger they were obviously so proud of"
8PM - 9PM
"Jack and Claudia's scene could have been a highlight of the episode but was totally ruined by Vanessa Ferlito's uneven acting, as it was the script and Kiefer saved it from turning into a soap opera"
9PM - 10PM
"she slipped so carefully back into the fabric of the show in such a understated way, which probably had every s1 fan jumping up and down like a kid in a candy store"
10PM - 11PM
"This builds on the good work of the last episode, to give us something which is working towards the height we know the show can go to"
11PM - 12PM
"It's still on autopilot at the moment, and the best of the series is yet to come, but when it does, it'll be great"
12AM - 1AM
"This episode did what all good 24 does, leaves you wanting more"
1AM - 2AM
"This episode did the impossible, it reversed an opinion, that 4 or 5 weeks ago was set in stone"
2AM - 3AM
"hmm, first jack, then you, what does that remind you off?"
3AM - 4AM
"Jack and Chase continue to impress with some quick witted lines and their interrogation double act"
4AM - 5AM
"This is one of the best episodes of the series so far. Period."
5AM - 6AM
"of this episode and the seven episodes of the series to come, Kiefer said he, the rest of the cast and crew where more proud of them than anything that had gone before and from this episode it's easy to see why and get extremely excited at the possibilty that from here things will build to a spectacular series finales that this show deserves"
6AM - 7AM
"Never before have I ever felt so compelled to dedicate the review to one storyline. I've thought about it before, but always thought better of it. But this is different. For this I will."
