Where do I start, firstly apologises for the late review, unavoidable since I only got to see the episode yesterday.

This reaffirms by faith in this show or atleast the main storyline does. Regular readers will know, that for sometime, I've been waiting for want i've been calling "pay off", for all the build up which has taking up the majoirty of the episodes so far. This I think was it, one hell of a gunfight, helicopters firing rocket propelled grenades and they virtually masscared salazar's men.

Back to hector and ramon, people have said ramon shooting hector for a second time was just plain evil, while I actually think that it was in a sick twisted way, a mercy killing, Ramon knew they didn't have time to get him to a hospital if they were going to do a deal, so instead of letting him die, slowly and painfully on the floor of that barn thing, he shots him again, and he doesn't suffer. It was brotherly love, I tell you, considering there was eight hundred million dollars at stake, it was brotherly love.

Hmm, I'm a bit distracted right now, i'm trying to write this review, post on inside-24/forum mean while reading 24-addict's take on the episode in the hope of remembering my thoughts on episode, and while i'm doing all this, i'm also trying to vaguely watch this cheesy channel 5 film called Love Field starring none other than 24's Dennis Haysbert. But I'll try to get my thoughts together, wouldn't me much of a review otherwise.

After that little interlude, oh right, mutant monkey (copyright steve brennan of the i-24 forum), otherwise known as Chloe's baby thing, (oh no!!!, dennis is about to be caught by the police), this storyline is getting really weird, and kind of random, and to be honest, if I was the writer who came up with this storyline, I would be really ashamed, i mean really really ashamed. I think robert ellis put it best with his line from series one, "crawl under a rock and cry". Okay it wasn't in that context, but it fits perfectly don't you think.

(oh crap, I missed what happened to dennis haysbert, I don't know if the police caught him), I'm gonna gloss over the sherry storyline, since I didn't think it was quite up to stratch and that guy and his trailer looked as if it was copied sraight from a school lesson on stereotypes.

Back to the best of the episode (jack and chase), I thought they found Ramon a little to easily, but I think that was needed, for the timing of other events so I'll give them that one. But the fact that the virus, wasn(happy ending for dennis, the police didn't catch him)'t the virus, it was infact a bomb!, which left me a bit confused, at first I thought it was Ramon who had rigged it with explosives at that there was actually the first in it, which would mean they'd all just been infected. (cheesy music over credits of dennis's movie, wow that woman with him was michelle phieffer). What had actually happened was still pretty bad. Cut to 'team 2' in pursuit of amador who has the real virus, now that was an ambush!!!!. I think I said afterwards "well there dead", nah do you think so was my reply in my head.

This episode did what all good 24 does, leaves you wanting more, which to be fair previous episode have done, but this episode also let you know, just what to expect. Which some of the past episodes lacked.

After seeing this episode, my dad summed it up brilliantly, so i'll let him sum this up, "so salazar is dead, they don't have amador or nina, and they don't have the virus,....successful operation"
