2PM - 3PM....
Previously On 24 CTU discover a bio-terrorist threat to LA, linked to Drug Lord Ramon Salazar. As ctu work on finding the last known address of dead drug dealer David Goss. Jack tidies up the mess he's made in his office, finds a capsule of heroin which he didn't destroy properly, he'll keep that one just in case. Kim wants to tell Jack about her and chase, chase warns her off, but she, well she's Kim, and she gets greedy, so she tells Jack anyway. He's reaction, well there is no reaction. Before we have time to think about that for long, Jack and Chase are off to check out Goss's last known address. Jack's seen loading up a shotgun, why we didn't see it during the action scene, I'm not sure why, to be honest I was a little disapointed, Jack with a pump action shotgun is just poetry in motion. On there way to the address, Chase and Jack have a discussion and Life, Kim, Relationships and Everything, this was probably the best bit of real drama in the series so far. It through up some great lines, such as "you can't do this job and have a normal life"...."you saying I shouldn't have a relationship with anyone"..."yes, especcially not with my daughter". This scene gave some creditabilty to Kate's cameo in the first episode. On to palmer's story, "I can walk and chew gum at the same time". His brother gets a copy of Senator Keeler's playbook probably less than legal methods. David agrees to look at it because of some troubling news about Anne, but not before some over melodramatic looks between him and Wayne. What is it that is so troubling?, we don't find out. Back to Jack and Chase, the action in this episode really showed us just how well they work together, it certainly looks as if them being partners wil give some more range to action and interrogation scenes. Someother points which don't really fit in anywhere...is it me or does CTU look bigger than is did last series? The cliffhanger was huge!!!!!, gael is a mole, inside CTU!!!!!, exactly how he can go missing for 2 hours while making phone calls, and no one wonders where he is, does strain credibilty a bit, but theres 22 episode left, theres a lot of time for that to be explained. So better than last week, unsure, probably, still I wanted just a little bit more. Time checks 2 Hours until the polotical debate. Hector wants Ramon released in the Next 5 Hours Quotes
"I'll skip the technobabble" - Dr. Sunny Macer Overnight Rating I dunno yet, media guardian didn't mention the show in there overnights round-up, but I'll keep looking, close to last episode total is a safe bet.
