5PM - 6PM....
Previously On 24 A whole lot happened, but this is only gonna be a short review so why don't really have time. "Yes, ok, review late, again!" was a quote from last weeeks review, and guess what, it fits with this weeks review to, but this week, it ain't my fault, my friend (who shall remain nameless) mucked up the tape, meaning i've been chasing up anyone with sky asking if they happened to record it, or if they could record a repeat. Today I finally got hold of one, phew!, could you imagine, me not getting to see 24!!!!!, lol, doesn't bare thinking about. Right, on with the show. It's episode 5, can't remember what happened this time last series, and don't have time to look it up. The bits I hate!, CTU have another!!!!!!!, meeting!!!, wait, hang on, no, they didn't!, sure???, maybe it got cut out on my tape, that's nearly as surprising as the fact that kim ain't been kidnapped or started running away from anyone yet. But back with us is the mexican drug dealer and his girlfriend side show, oh how long can this go on!!!!, it's dull as dish water, sorry it is. Last week they weren't so bad, but it's back to the usual this week. To palmer and co, the debate we've heard so much about, didn't seem to be many people there did there??, you'd think it would be hot news. Maybe people have gotten smart and realised L.A. ain't a safe place to be. "The real meat of this episode was chase showing just how similar he is to jack", another quote from last weeks review, and well well, the trend continues while giving us some great scenes to boot!, and yeah, as i'd hoped, chase got to use a pump action shot gun!!!!, and he uses it just as well as jack does, if not better. A word on russian roulette, hmm, jack die episode 5, oh come on!, what are we, born yesterday!, I've tried to defend the "jack might be about to die" moments in the past, and sure they might have to tension to them, but really, it ain't gonna happen, episode 24, maybe, possibly even episode 1, kiefer might agree to do one episode of new series, and then kill of jack. But episode 5, no way, it's about as likely as James Bond being killed, but growing old, ot gonna happen. I'm skipping a lot out, I told you it would only be a short review. On to the cliffhanger, which was well non-existent, wow, I said that last week too, maybe i'll just cut and paste last weeks , last paragraph. The cliffhanger was well non existent, you had jack escaping with salazar and then chase trying to tell jack that they had kyle singer, but that was done a few minutes before the end of the episode, so it doesn't really count ok maybe a little. I have to say, the end of the episodes haven't really had the shock factor as series one did. They always linger, why must a last 10 seconds of every show be an almost still image of jack looking into the distance just past the camera???, it lets it soak in, and defuses the tension. See a pattern is imerging (if that's how you spell it), can every episode end with 10 seconds of jack looking into the distance??, wait and see, but not until after 10 seconds of jack looking into the distance. Time checks Hector wants Ramon released in the Next Hour Kyle contagious in 1 hour. Overnight Rating 600,000 according to digital spy.
