Now this is more like it!, this is 24. And yes the review is on time, for the first time in a long while. Be grateful. After that episode I think you probably are. The multiple storylines seemed to work and gel together, unlike other episodes when it almost appeared as if they were interrupting each other and fighting for air time. Not sure why this has happened all of a sudden, the music seemed to blend the different scenes together, or it might just have been the fact that I didn't have my dad stopping the tape every 5 minutes to ask about something. Had I written this review any sooner, all you would have gotten would be Nina's Back written out about a thousande times. And for good reason, she slipped so carefully back into the fabric of the show in such a understated way, which probably had every s1 fan jumping up and down there living rooms like a kid in a candy store........no, oh just me then. I didn't recognise her at first, with that long hair. Thought she was mandy for a minute. I'm getting to really like this Micheal Amador, played by an englishman no less, Greg Ellis, I believe his name is. I'll have to check out his Imdb page when I'm finished here. He really does seem evil, add that to the Salazar brothers and Nina, and well it makes for a quite leathal combination. My TV was in danger of overheating. A few words on Michelle and Tony, the Posh and Beck's of the Counter Terrorism world. Could there be a bit of mistrust creeping in here?, did Beck's really have an affair with his assistant....oh right this is a 24 website, not the front page of the sun newspaper...sorry. Could there be mistrust between Michelle and Tony?, telling your superior that your husband is incompentent certainly cant be that great for a marriage, add this to the fact that Tony was keeping the sting operation secret from Michelle and there could be future trouble at home with the Almeidas, and they still ain't decided of Tony's gonna take that job at Langley, or did I miss something. Palmer's storyline with a Financial backer and his trophy wife seemed slightly ludiciruous, but it gave David and Wayne something new to talk about so it had it's merits. I still think the return of Sherry is just round the corner. Nina's here, why can't we have Sherry back to. Jack mark 2 had to go through some rather rough torture, I do hope we don't see to many more torture scenes, especcially after last series saw a whole heap of them. It just don't seem original any more. Chase didn't have to endure it too long, and then he gets the great news that Jack's bit on the side is now on there side. He must have been jumping for joy. Sorry to seem cynical, but I don't see how much help Claudia can actually be. One of the highlights of the episode has to be Jack virtually begging for his life, and a chance to keep his mission on track. Again played to perfection by Kiefer. We need some more moments like this. There's better to come, i'm sure of it, but for the time being, this goes to the top of the s3 heap. Time Checks Nope, sections redudant I think Quotes
