11.29.04 | Sorry! | 10:20 pm
Gosh! It's still raining tonight! And the weather's not changed since this morning. Oh, boy. I hope we won't have classes tomorrow.
I'm sorry if I've only updated today. It's because last Friday up to Sunday, we went to Caleruega in Batangas (near Tagaytay, in Taal) for our class retreat. I was still dizzy up to today, so I haven't got a chance to update this.
Anyway, when our bus stopped for our arrival, I somehow felt a chill in my whole body. I don't know, but they say that that place is creepy. What I mean is, there are a lot of ghosts lurking there.
Ghosts. I haven't seen one yet, though at first, I want to see one when I'm there. But now, of course, I'm scared to see them. Though I've felt something cold on my left side when I'm inside of the church. It's like someone's touching me. It was when I was praying to Father God. When I've felt it, I asked for God's protection and immediately the cold feeling was gone. God id so good.
I also saw, for the very first time, a ghost sitting and somewhat hiding in the bushes. It was sudden and fast. I first thought that it was one of the visitors in the area, but when I tried to find it, there was nobody around. I remembered that it was at that time when I was just finished texting Ate Chette on the phone and was on my way to the dorm... alone by myself. Oh yeah, and I saw "it" near the church too.
The place was rumored to be very scary. Last year, students from Letran had taken their pictures in front of the church in Caleruega, and when they've developed it, they saw a white figure that looks like a lady in a white gown. Scary. Actually, it was printed in the book 4 of the "True Philippine Ghost Stories."
Also, in our second night (Saturday), we were having our session wherein we would pick up a candle and give it to the person we want to thank or say sorry to, or just would want to say something. Well, in going there, we from St. Dominica are with the section of St. Dorotheo. During the session, however, one student from St. Dorotheo shouted and freaked out.
It was because, she felt someone raising her hair in the C.R., and saw a black figure right infront of her face!
We soon prayed for the souls and for ourselves to have a good night's sleep. Thankful to God, we woke up peacefully.
I would want to go there, though I would still feel a little bit uneasy. I just prayed that the souls there will be peaceful and won't bother the visitors again.
Oh well. I'm getting scared again. God bless!

I think I better start explaining now. For the past... 19 days, with no "update"... what the heck has happened to me?!?
I'ts because of this: Well, I'll just narrate it to you, ok?
From November 2-7, I've been grounded by my mother because of my frequent late-night "visits" on my computer that stayed for about 6 hours. "It's vacation," I reasoned out, but then, I guessed it's not also right to get stressed out of vacation.
The second is this: November 8-11, I've been busy preparing for our field trip--okay, it's not really a field trip, but a training in CAdT that was held in Bluroze Farm in Lipa, Batangas. Then, I was out in the wilderness during November 12-14.
Imagine, on our first day there, we already have the bravery test, then hours of waiting for our turn at the night maze. We already slept at 1:00 in the morning, the woke up at 4:00 because we still have to take our baths and the bathrooms there are limited. (We were about 500+ who went there!) After that, at 5:45 am, we already prepared our food because we'll have our breakfast. Again, the cooking areas are limited, so we waited for our turn.
At 8:00 am, we were again called up for another challenge. We took up wall climbing (I was so dumb to put on my rubber shoes at that time, that's why I fell!), rappelling (you'd be nervous too if you're already on top... Jenny was so scared she didn't tried it at all!), high rope (more of in a circus show, but I did it!), confidence line (our company got first place on this challenge!), rope course (we're supposed to be the best time here... "sayang"), orienteering (I was so exhausted after all that running), and many more. Then, we went back to our tent to eat a little and rest.
Then, last Saturday night (November 13), the campfire presentation was held. I was pretty proud because our company (cadettes) won the best presentation. It ended at late 12:30 in the morning already. There would still be another scheduled event, but because almost all of the cadettes were dead tired and some were even sleeping in the grass, the officers cancelled it and ordered us to go back to our tent and sleep.
Sunday morning came by so fast. I woke up at 5:30 am already, and because I'm still tired from yesterday's events, I kept lying inside the tent and waited until 6:00 am. Oh, and did I mention that it was so cold outside (even with pajamas, long-sleeved shirt, and a thick blanket on)? At 8:00 am, we attended mass which was held at the main stage. As part of the Music Society, I was one of, uhm, 7 people who sang in front of those 500 people. Yayks... anyway, there's no problem at all that happened, so it was quite okay. Actually, it would be better if the sun weren't above us because at that time, it was already steaming hot outside. (Or maybe I was just exaggerating?)
The last was the most fun part of all. There has been a conflict between Pay High and Educ. in the camp, and so when the war games started, all of our attention went to the Alpha company (where the Educ. students are), and were the first one to be targeted on. Heheh, of course, we won.
When going home, we used buses although our class went from one bus to another. My classmates were so picky that they wanted our class not to go to other buses with a different section and wanted to bond together. We finally found one. +phew+ During the middle of our trip back to school, one bus got its tires almost loose. We help the students carried by the bus by allowing them to sit-in our bus. Other buses of other sections even went back just to help them. I finally got home with my mom, and even if it's just 7:30 pm, I slept peacefully on my bed.
Last November 15, I woke up at 2 pm due to lack of sleep from the training. But it's still fun though. Of course, I'll never forget that training that has taught many things about discipline and being independent.
What about the things that happened to me last 3 days? Uhm, last Tuesday, we have no classes because it was the distribution of cards. And it was good news for me because my average grades went 2 points high. Thank God! I also went out with my cousins in their school because it's also their distribution of cards. It's already afternoon when we got home because we shopped somewhere in Tutuban. Mom bought already christmas lights and decorations. You see, christmas season is very early here in the Philippines. Sometimes, you'll see people's houses decorated with colorful lanterns already in mid-September!
Yesterday, we have a lot of assignments--oh yeah, I remember, in November 26, we'll be having our retreat! So many schedules... sometimes I get sick of it, sometimes If feel so excited about it. Oh well. :P
What about today? Well... I woke up late again this morning,... well, not actually because I woke up at 5:12 am, but then I kinda fell asleep again because of too much stress from studying our stupid subject in Physics (why is so hard?!?). I woke up again at 7:15 already, and late for school, so I decided not to go and just study here at home. And? Might as well this site... so here I am! ^_^
God bless, guys! It feels great to be here again! ^_^
