The Calm After The Storm - The storm still clatters about their heads, but there is an end in sight to this tumultuous night, dawn breaking, and with it a new beginning. (Set the morning following the previous log) (11. March 2002)
Reiko recoils almost as if struck. "I... I'm sorry," she whispers, reaching to Ele but not quite daring to make contact again--she draws her hand back at the last moment. "I guess I should go." Turning away then, she gropes around on the floor for her abandoned clothing, truthfully unable to look at Elehu now.
Storm Clouds In The Distance - Things have been brewing between Elehu and Reiko for quite some time now, if not always in the open. There was bound to be a confrontation eventually, if Elehu could just summon the courage, and if Reiko would allow it. (8. March 2002)
At Reiko's last two statements, however, Ele pauses, for a rather long moment. Frowning uncertainly she shakes her head. "I can wait," she ventures hesitantly, her eyes searching. "And if you can't... if you really can't, just tell me, Reiko," she adds, just above a whisper. "If nothing else, I want to be your friend. And if that's all I can be in your life... then that's what I'll be."
Resolution - Elehu gets a ride up to Khena's weyr to deliver the maternity clothes from storage plus a decision or two as well. (14. February 2002)
Elehu glances at Mneoth for a moment before she gives an almost silent sigh and glances at Khena. "I know," she admits, arms tightening about herself a little more. "I just wanted to be honest with you. As much as I can, at least. I just don't know what's going on anymore. Who I am, what it is I'm supposed to do... and I can't burden someone else with that."

Elehu winces at Khena's words and even looks a little hurt at first, though that slowly drains away. "I was just trying to help," she replies quietly, though she does stand a little straighter. Stubborn-streak? You bet. "And I'm not saying anything... because I don't know what to say," she adds, voice almost purposefully quiet this time as if to emphasize Khena's own tone. "And I don't know what I sharding feel, so I highly doubt you do."
Just hammer long enough... - Khena and Elehu begin by discussing pregnancies, but end on a totally different note as Khena pries at an already cracking emotional wall. (6. February 2002)
"Going on with me?" Elehu replies simply, her eyes not leaving the edge of the tightly grasped book. "I'm not quiet sure what you mean." She gives Khena a quick look bordering on wary before she tugs at her blanket with a touch of unease, though barely perceptible. "My job here doesn't change much. Just the patients, apprentices, assistants, seasons, whims..." Her voice brisk at first, it slowly ebbs to a quiet timbre before she trails off altogether.
Confessions - Elehu reveals something to Reiko. (30. January 2002)
Elehu looks very much surprised at Reiko's response as she gazes into the rider's emerald eyes, her own becoming very bright for a flash of a moment before they begin to water ever so slightly though she blinks it away and simply gives Reiko a soft nod, her lips curving gently into a faint smile....
