| Chapter Nine Chapter nine: section one Venus Smurf 2004-05-18 Very cute scene with Serena and Sammy. I love how Serena can somehow maintain her innocence in spite of everything. NIcely written. Yay! You even managed to bring Darien into it. I'm overjoyed, especially when your methods of including him were so funny. I'm actually kind of glad that Serena doesn't tell Darien everything. It's not like he's never kept secrets from HER, now is it? Besides, this tells me that your SErena isn't as dependent on Darien as the old one was. She's grown up and become her own person, and that can't be a bad thing. Wonderful insights into their situation. I love the details you included, and I loved how brilliantly insightful you are. BenRG 2003-08-06 You know, that is one thing that we virtually never see in the anim� (but do occasionally see in the manga). What effect does being a champion of Love and Justice have on Serena. After all, she was never a paragon of emotional stability, and now she has to face soul-sucking monsters every night.
