Killer Army is arguably the best Venoms film ever made. It was years after the Venoms (Philip Kwok, Chiang Sheng, Lu Feng, Lo Meng and Sun Shien) had already worked on nearly a dozen films together. That being said, this film captures them at their prime with extensive fight sequences and intricate choreography that has yet to be rivaled 20 years later!

What makes this movie stand out is a number of things. First of all we have the natural Venoms ingredients: Philip Kwok's versatility, Lo Meng's power, Chiang Sheng's agility and Lu Feng's keen skill. The weapons are another antecdote to be admired. Kuo's character hand crafts a Triple-Wooden Nunchaku and uses it in a way never before seen on film. Lu Feng totes a dynamic Super Spear that strikes with deadly accuracy. Chiang Sheng owns a Simitar-like Sword coupled with a Weaved Shield that isn't solid but is taught enough to ward of sharp objects. Wang Li utilizes Butterfly Swords like they are part of his arms - taking Kuo and Chiang together at once!

In editing this trailer I tried to capture clips that highlight some of the best moments of Killer Army. Especially the parts I find myself rewinding over and over again! I used the music to make the fight sequences appear dance-like and paced to the beat. In doing so I noticed how perfectly timed the Venoms choreography actually is. A good example is the scene where Kuo and Chiang are fighting hand to hand (right before the text "Completely Restored" appears). Lo Meng is in the rear right and you can see him counting the tempo with his head - waiting for his turn to jump in!
