The regular season was interesting and fun as the season was successful. The Toronto Raptors completed the season with only 9 losses, setting a CBA regular season record for fewest losses in a single season. It was a great rematch in the CBA Finals as Deb Walker’s team (the same person as Deb Wilson) was much improved and came from a 0-3 deficit to tie the series at 3-3 before being blown out in game 7. In which they lost the CBA championship, however they made it to the Finals for the second consecutive year!

PLAYOFF MVP: Bobby George was selected
again as the Finals MVP. He averaged 20.0 points a game, at 21.3 minutes a
game, and a .428% FG. His 3 point shooting % was .336% and his free throws were
at .789%. He had .4 Offensive Rebounds a game and 1.2 Defensive Rebounds a
game. He had .04 blocks per game and 4.65 steals a game with 4.6 assists per
game. And 1.8 fouls per game all during the finals. Congratulations to Bobby
George PG or the Toronto Raptors and MVP of the 2005-06 Playoffs.
The Toronto Raptors
capture the 2005-06 Golden Basketball Finals Championship Series, 4 games to 3!
Congratulations must be given to the Ti9mberwolves and their effort to take the
Golden Basketball Trophy this year. As Kevin Garnett, Latrell Sprewell, and
everyone else on that team did all in their power to come back from a 0-3
deficit to take the series to a 7th game! It was perhaps the most
exciting series we have ever had in this league! Toronto under the ownership of
Keith Wilson was incredible as he also was the General Manager and Coach. Rumor
has it that with his coming marriage to Dorisa Call he may Retire from the
bench however he will continue as the ACTIVE G.M. of the club and the owner.
Time will tell?

The Regular Season was one of the best we have had. We went from EA Sports “NBA Live 2004” to EA Sports “NBA Live 2005” for the better graphics and the “All-Star Weekend” along with the ownership capabilities involved and the new divisions of 3 divisions per Conference with 5 teams per division. The down side we discovered after the regular season ended is that you cannot upload the seniors from EA Sports “March Madness 2005” like you could with 2004. Although there is a draft, you now can’t go with what you know from playing the college year, you have to do your scouting in the NBA Live game and pay your scouts to scout. This could be good, or bad. The off-season will tell what the League chooses to do. Do we stick with NBA Live 2005, or go back to NBA Live 2004? We will probably stay with 2005. We enjoy the NBA live 2005 very much.

PLAYOFF MVP: Bobby George-PG-Raptors.
Bobby George led the Raptors to the Championship by his leadership role for the
Raptors. He is the glue that has held this team since his arrival to the CBA.
He averaged 21.5 points per game in the Playoffs. Bobby George, the Playoff MVP
of the 2004-05 Playoffs.
The Toronto Raptors capture the 2004-05 Golden Basketball Finals Championship Series, 4 games to 2! Congratulations to the Raptors who had their hands full in getting by the Timberwolves to win the championship. They had a hard time getting past the Bulls in the Semi-Finals to advance, and lost Tyrone Lue in game 1 of the finals. Congratulations go out to the Toronto Raptors 2004-05 Champs. Although not as dominant perhaps as the 2003-04 Bulls, they were a force to be reckoned with.

The Regular Season was perhaps the best regular
season we have had yet, there was tremendous interest in the CBA for the first
time. It has been gaining slowly in popularity since the year the Heat won the
championship in the 2000-01 Season. With the PS-2 the Game has taken off in
popularity! This year was a break through year and we also had two of the teams
with a human coach, the Chicago Bulls with Bryan Ewell, and the Toronto Raptors
with Keith J. Wilson. The final standings are listed above.

The
First Round of the 2003-04 CBA Playoffs saw some major upsets. Granted the
purpose in a 7 game series is to keep the upsets from happening and the better
teams advancing. Well perhaps the teams that won were and are the better teams
this time of the year. Toronto, last year’s champion who had only two returning
starters, Chris Carter and Bobby George, all other starters are new to the
team. Scott Padgett also returned with this years edition, but it did them
little good as the team made the playoffs as the #7 seed in the East and was
ousted by the NY Knicks in the first round 4 games to 1 as they were out played
throughout the series. Nadeal Wilson, was the hero of the Knicks in the series
and has been the strength of their team. The Washington Wizards were blown away
by the Boston Celtics who had Joe Wilson Dominate for the Celtics. New Orleans
bounced Philadelphia in 4 straight games leaving Alan Iverson and Derek
Deloniak looking like fools and not toting the load and looking like hot dogged
fools. Chicago murdered Atlanta in 4 straight making it known they are a team
on a mission. That was the First Round in the East. Over in the West the #2
Seed Lakers took on the Phoenix Suns and nobody figured the Lakers would have a
hard time as they lost the first two in LA’s Staple Center, and the first game
in Phoenix as the Suns took a 3-0 lead to them. Shaque, Kobe, The Mailman
Malone, Matthew Wong, and Gary Payton woke up for game 4 and a possible sweep
to take it to the Suns showing them they are alive and well. The Lakers again
showed up for game 5 making it a 3-2 series as they still trailed, and came
home for a game 6 in which they destroyed the Phoenix Suns to tie the series at
3-3. Game 7 left Matthew Wong’s team,
the Lakers sullen and forlorn as they were taken out 101-100 on a last second
toss by Nick Dloniak to give the Suns the Series 4-3. The Dallas Mavericks were
shocked as well by the Utah Jazz who were a mouse with a mighty roar winning 2
of the first three games and then the last two to win that series and shock the
CBA as Dallas felt this was their year once again, as they finish with
disappointment for Trish Wilson’s team. Shelly & Family’s team. The Denver
Nuggets took it to the Sacramento Kings of Siri Edwards 4-1 to advance as if
Sacramento didn’t even deserve to be in the playoffs and Denver was the
favorite, a 4 verses a 5 should be a closer match-up than it was. Terry
Wilson’s Minnesota Timberwolves destroyed the Memphis Grizzlies who were so
happy just being in the playoffs it was as if they forgot to play. They are a
improving team.
The Bulls just crushed their opponents
throughout the playoffs as they went unbeaten, 16-0 to win the 11th
Golden Basketball Championship. Congratulations to the Bulls.
PLAYOFF
MVP:
Butthead Ewell-C-Chicago B. Butthead was a major force in the Bulls Playoff Run
and in just getting to the playoffs, he was the team MVP throughout the year
and was there every time he was called upon, especially through the playoffs.
Congratulations to the Chicago Bulls and to Butthead Ewell the Playoff MVP of
the 2003-04 Playoffs.

MVP: Kevin Garnett: T-Wolves- 1,334 points .467%
shooting
6th Man: Jalen Rose: Raptors- 877 points
.434% shooting
Defensive Player: Tim Duncan- Mavericks: 659
Rebounds, 115 Blocks, 68 Steals.
The Season was long and tough for many teams but yet
surprising for some. Example was the Raptors who seemed to improve as the
season went on. Once the Playoffs started it looked great for them until they
fell two games to none to the Hawks, then they came roaring back to take the
series 3-2. In the second round they faced the New York Knicks and again fell
prey facing a 0-3 deficit before coach Wilson called a special meeting and low
and behold the Raptors woke up and won 4 straight to knock the Knicks out of
the playoffs winning the series 4-3 which was the first time in CBA history
that a 3-0 series lead has been blown! Dallas came into the Playoffs the hands
on favorite to take the Golden Basketball, but the defending champion Jazz
knocked them out and thus the Mavs will have to wait until next season.
In the Finals, the Raptors have shocked the CBA
world and swept the Lakers Four Games Straight to take their first CBA
Championship. Congratulations to the Toronto Raptors. The MVP of the CBA Finals
as chosen by the CBA was Jalen Rose and Chris Childs of the Toronto Raptors.
Coming off the bench he continually kept the Raptors up, and brought them back.
Chris Childs filled in for Bobby George consistently when George was in foul
trouble. Continuing these two were dominant off the bench and shared the honors
by the League. This is the first time this voting has picked co-MVP of the
Finals. Congratulations to Keith Wilson and his Toronto Raptors.

2001-02 CBA Season |
Shocking everyone I think were this years Jazz. Cassie lost the team at the beginning of the year just like she did the Rams. Low and behold the franchise went all out and bought itself a team that was more than capable of winning a championship. If not, then at least make a very good run at it. When they blew the doors off the Dallas Mavericks everyone woke up and was in shock! When they met last years revamped championship team everyone was looking for the Jazz to go out quickly, yet it didn’t happen again as the League run Jazz controlled by the Playstation just stuck to business and kicked butt and won in 5 games to take it to the Heat and prove the Jazz are still a team to be reckoned with. Next Season should be as exciting as this one was, See you there!!!

Popularity in the CBA (Cyber Basketball Association)
seems to be on the rise while the NBA, it’s mentor in reality may be shrinking
in popularity. The CBA is enjoying a popularity from the competitive nature of
the game and none of the crap that is so much an albatross wrapped around the
NBA. It’s players take care of business on the TV and on the Playstation and
that is it! We don’t have anyone crying about to much practice, or having drug
problems or trouble with the law. We have the luxury of the game of ole, men
(although cyber) taking care of business and doing their job and doing it
without outside interferences so tainted in the NBA. Long live Keith J. Wilson
and his Cyber Sports Federation and the entertainment it provides whether only
to himself in his own little world, or to those who follow it and note the
amusement and pure fun it was designed to be. Joy of each sport and none of the
interference from without and the pressures of the world.

Season
in Review!
The Dallas Mavericks made the Western Conference Playofffs as the second seed in the West, and the Miami Heat made the playoffs as the First Seed in the East. The two went through the playoffs, with the Raptors giving the Heat a run for the money, and the Timber Wolves giving Dallas trouble as the two teams worked to the playoff finals. The Miami Heat with Alonzo Mourning took out the Mavericks in Four Straight games to win the Golden Basketball Championship almost embarrassing the Mavs in the Process!!!
The Season saw owner expansion beyond the expected, and interest in the League grew slightly. All went well as the owners

Season
in Review!
The Jazz Made the Western Conference Playoffs as the 3rd seed. They surprised all by getting past the Laker’s who had won their previous 19 games to make the playoffs after a coaching change and some player personel changes. Next they miraculously took out the Western Conferences #1 Seed, the Houston Rockets. Then they met the Seattle supersonic’s in the Western Conference Finals and took them out in 7 games to advance to the finals.
Meanwhile the Chicago Bulls finished the season as the #1 team in basketball with 70 wins!!! They were in cruise control as they swept the Pistons in round 1, 3-0. Then on to the Conference Semi Finals to face the Pacers. There again they Swept the pacers 4-0 and cruised into the Eastern Conference Finals. You would have thought the Mighty Knicks would have put up a good fight, but they did not. They were swept in a laugher, 4-0 with each game won by the Bulls by a minimum of 17 points and a maximum of 43 points.
The 1998-99 Finals were set. The Awesome Overpowering high scoring great defensive Bulls would take on the Utah Jazz. It was to be another laugher, or so everyone thought. The Jazz trying to protect and defend their position as the WvSF Basketball Champions were thought to be a shoe out, a no show, A blow out from their position as WvSF Champions. The Bulls took the first two games in Chicago Handily, 129-64 in game 1, and 132-89 in game 2. The Bulls were shocked however in Utah losing to the Jazz 92-91. Then the Bulls roared and snorted back in the Delta Center in Salt Lake City winning the game 122-90. Off to Chicago for game 5 with the series 3-1 Chicago. Everyone thought this would be it, at the half Chicago was up by 21, 61-40, but by the end of the third quarter the score was 90-81. With 4.3 seconds in the game it was 101-99. The Jazz coach went with a gutsie play passing the ball to Jeff Hornacek the Jazz Banked on his 3 point ability and were not disappointed. The Final Score of game 5, 101-102 Jazz!!! Back to the Delta Center in Salt Lake for a unthought of game 6! Karl Malone took over here with a record number of assists by John Stockton (40) to take the game and making it look easy, 99-90. This tied the series at 3 games a piece. The once commanding lead of 3-1 was now deadlocked at 3-3! To the Great City of Chicago for game 7. Chicago had taken the lead by 25 at the half, 60-35! No way could the ancient Jazz come back now it was thought. By the end of the 3rd quarter the score was now 66-59!!! The Jazz allowed only 3 buckets in the third quarter! Now came the 4th and the Bulls would light it up so everyone thought. The Jazz defense kept up the heat and the Phrase “Stockton to Malone” rang clear through the arena as the Jazz were up by 10 with 2:00 to go, 75-85. The Bulls on slaught was high and mighty the last 2 minutes but the final score was the Jazz 87, the Bulls 86! The Jazz kept the Golden Basketball for another year.
MVP:
Karl Malone

Season
in Review!
The Jazz became the
first to repeat as Golden Basketball Champions. It was a great season. Once
Again some interest was paid, but it remains a very low interest Cyber Sports
League, with less interest than any other league.

1996-97 Season |
1996-97 Season
The Utah Jazz after getting back their previous owner won
the Championship with a tough fought battle.
No Records were kept for the season. However The CBA is beginning to emerge
from its minuscule survival, and beginning to take minor interest.

1995-96
Season |
1995-96
Season
For the first time ever a Human run team won the Championship of the Cyber Basketball Association (CBA). Keith Wilson after selling the Jazz and buying Cleveland in an effort to regroup his teams in the same geographical area, guided his team to the 95-96 Championship! Once again the league has survived by the skin of its teeth due to lack of interest.

1994-95
Season |
1994-95
Season!
The League got through its second season with little attention paid to it once again. The hopes for future growth continues. Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs for winning the Championship. Once again, due to lack of interest the League survived without taking statistics or records.

The Inaugural Season of the CBA |
1993-94 Season!
This was the League’s inagural Season. And congratulations go out to the Portland TrailBlazers for their big Championship win! The season went through with little if any interest paid to it, other than the sake of another CSF League. The Survival of it is very questionable. However Keith J. Wilson League Commissioner and WvSF Commissioner will keep it going as long as he feels there is hope for continued growth and his dream for it’s future.
