20088 National
Championship Game
*: From 2000 on the word “Cyber@ should proceed all ABowl Games@ listed, as it is the CCAA Championship!!! As
the format and game system was changed from Super Nintendo to the 64, then the
SONY PlayStation. The BCS (Bowl
Championship Series) was then instituted which made it much more difficult
to win the Cyber National Championship of College Football! Beginning with the
2008 season additional games have been added, the last one is known as “The BCS
Championship Game” which pits the two best teams in the nation against one
another (as determined by the BCS Committee, which is the PS-2 and the game
program itself) for the national championship!
CCAA
Rules & Regulations For Joining & Game Play:
1. A Player May Join The
A): He/She Takes A Job Of A School NOT Ranked In The Top 25!
B): He/She Plays The Games Without Other Hands ON Assistance.
(Meaning Another Player or Helper Controls The Game Pad At Any Time.
C): He/She Must Remain With That Team For The Remainder Of That
Season And The Following Season Unless Offered Job By PS-2.
D): Exemption To A);
Player Can Beat a #1,2, or 3 ranked team with the #25 or #24 team on a “New
Dynasty” simulation Game proving He/She can compete
for
the National Championship and not be a detriment to the Team He/She desires to Coach.
2. A Player May Join Before The Beginning
Of The Regular Season And Assume Any Open Job With Majority Coach Approval or
May Be Approved or Over Ridden By CCAA Commissioner.
3. The CCAA Championship Game Is Proposed Solely
On The Outcome Of The “BCS” as the Computer Game Figures, Tallies, Ranks and
Assigns The Bowl Rankings And The Bowl Match-Ups.
A): Be
Aware Of This FACT When You Choose Your Team, And The
Conference Your Chosen Team IS IN!
B):
Be Aware Of This Fact When You Schedule Your Non-Conference Games. (An A+
Schedule Ranking Gives A Better RPI Rating Than a A
or A- or B or C!)
C):
Remember A Loss Could Cost You A National Championship, but so could a weaker
undefeated schedule, so choose your schedule wisely!
D):
The Bowl Rankings Base Teams On Ranked Opponents
Beaten, Also By Strength Of Conference as Well, which is monitored and viewable
on a weekly basis with the “NCAA 09” game used.
E):
Build A Program By Good Recruiting, Winning Games and Earn Invites To Stronger
Conferences Over The Years Through Strong Play!
4. The CCAA Player Personnel Has Been
Restructured For The 2007 Season:
A): Do To New Coaching Commitments For 2007 The Commissioner
Has Retooled The Player Personnel For The Coming Season And Beyond.
B):
This Coming Season BYU has been stripped of many of
it’s up & coming past recruits & select other teams have been given
select key recruits from previous
years to equal the “playing field”.
C):
This years “made” recruits have been placed in key
recruiting grounds for these “new commitment” coaches to help them build their
programs quickly and
compete
for the national title immediately. These key recruits are in their very
backyards and are ranked “99 blue chip” players for immediate impact.
5. Beginning 2008 Recruiting Season Rule Change:
A): Each
Team Coach May Generate (Create) No More Than Three Recruits (One Defensive)
and place him in his College’s Home State & Town.
B): Remember This Does Not Guarantee You Will Get The Recruit
or That He May Even Desire To Attend Your School.
C):
This Simply Will Allow You A Better Advantage To Land
A Player Of A Position You Need Special Help In, ie:
QB, RB, WR, LB, DB, DL or other.
6. Why The CCAA Uses The EA SPORTS NCAA
Football 2005.
A): The
New NCAA 2006 Timing Rules Suck, and therefore we will delay using them as long
as we can!
B.)
EA Sports NCAA 2006 focuses On The Athlete Where 2005
Focuses On The Team Concept Much Better.
C):
We Offer No Instant Replay Officiating, If You Want That, Play In Our CFL League In Which We Use
Madden 2005.
D):
We Play On The Heisman Game Level, which is the
HARDEST LEVEL, OUR Champion Deserves
To Be A Champion!!!
E):
We Play Four 10 Minute Quarters with a 25 second play
clock.
F):
Our Penalty Settings Are Set Very Near A Real Game
Level.
G):
The Human vs Computer Skill
Settings Are Very Near Equal.
H):
You Choose Your Non-Conference Opponents, This Helps
Determine Your “Strength Of Schedule” Ranking for Bowl Ranking in the BCS
Outcome.
7. The CCAA Monitors Schools Just Like The NCAA.
A): If You Do Not Take Action When Rules are Broken, Your
School Could Be Reprimanded By The CCAA.
B):
If You Are Alerted To A Student Athletes Academic
Failures You Should Take Action To Keep The CCAA Off Your Back.
C):
Make Sure You Budget Enough Discipline Points For
These Types Of Emergencies Or Trouble May Come Your Way.
D):
Having Your School Put On Probation By The CCAA Will
Not Be Fun If It Cost’s You Scholarships or TV Games For 1 or More Years!
8. The CCAA Has A “National Championship
Trophy”!
A):
There Is A Trophy Every Team In The CCAA Strives To
Have It’s Name, The Coach’s Name, & The Athletic Director’s Name On Every
Year!
B):
This Trophy Has Been A Keith J. Wilson Family
Tradition Since 1994!
C):
It’s Roots Can Be Traced Back To The CFL Championship
Which Began In 1977!!!
D):
It is much like the NHL’s Stanley Cup, The Same
Trophy Is Used Every Year Adding the
9. The CCAA Plays On The
Appropriate Year’s Schedule:
A):
In order to maintain it’s
draft class in conjuncture with the CFL (Madden 2009) It’s Seniors are exported
to that league where they are exported into the Cyber
Football
League for it’s draft each season.
B):
The CCAA Formed in Video Game Form In 1994 and since it
adapted BCS Bowl Series Play it has kept the same rotation.
C): Many of the CCAA’s Teams of “Power” have earned their way
from obscurity and their balance needs to be maintained, ie…
State,
SMU, Hawaii, University Southern Florida to name a few along with the emergence
of Weber State to the Division 1A Level In Our Play.
10. The CCAA will continue to grow and mature
through the years, and it is hoped, through upgrades only on select years, the
CCAA and CFL will have it’s players not be the same as it’s life-like
counterparts. This is our hope, and can be achieved by the following:
A): Upgrades
in Game programming are done every few years rather than every year. We hope to
use “09” through 2020, being 13 seasons on the PS-2.
B): At
that time we hope to upgrade to a much better gaming system at that point in
time, Little Keith and Jamie will be near 12 and 13 respectively.
C):
The objective being the CCAA & CFL will have
taken on their own identity, which it already has to some degree with certain
players which play on one team in reality, actually being staples for other teams in the Cyber World of
Sports.
