Regular Season In Review

The regular season was interesting and fun as the season was successful. The Toronto Raptors completed the season with only 9 losses, setting a CBA regular season record for fewest losses in a single season. It was a great rematch in the CBA Finals as Deb Walker’s team (the same person as Deb Wilson) was much improved and came from a 0-3 deficit to tie the series at 3-3 before being blown out in game 7. In which they lost the CBA championship, however they made it to the Finals for the second consecutive year!

The Finals Recap

The Toronto Raptors capture the 2005-06 Golden Basketball Finals Championship Series, 4 games to 3! Congratulations must be given to the Ti9mberwolves and their effort to take the Golden Basketball Trophy this year. As Kevin Garnett, Latrell Sprewell, and everyone else on that team did all in their power to come back from a 0-3 deficit to take the series to a 7th game! It was perhaps the most exciting series we have ever had in this league! Toronto under the ownership of Keith Wilson was incredible as he also was the General Manager and Coach. Rumor has it that with his coming marriage to Dorisa Call he may Retire from the bench however he will continue as the ACTIVE G.M. of the club and the owner. Time will tell?
