Sending Runes

Runic energies are sent, or directed, toward specific destinations,
people, and outcomes. The strength of your magical field of
intention, together with the depth of your desire and merging,
determines how strong the sending will be.

One of the best ways to send runes is via your power animal.
You do this by calling an energetic power animal, also called
"the double" or "soul-animal," from out of "wyrd." This animal
can be called, activated, and sent off to help you with your magic,
heal loved ones, communicate with friends, or carry important messages
to and from other worlds. The energetic power animal is then assimilated
into your being, and you gain knowledge from the experience.

Shamans and others who practice magic often send forth an animal
familiar to represent them in a specific undertaking. Remember always
to make an effort to apply the Four Keys of Knowledge-self-honesty,
self-responsibility, wisdom, and love-in every magical work you perform.
Sendings of the helpful kind are almost always appreciated. Of course,
never use your power animal or any other magical work to harm others.

To create a double, merge deeply with Oneness, with the Goddess and God,
and deliberately project your intended energy outward. Choose your power
animal; then tell, show, and communicate to this animal the runes you want
to send, giving instructions on how, when, where, and why. Pay close attention
to your experience. Notice how sounds seem to echo as you create the double.
Also notice how your other senses alter when you send runes via this magical
animal.
