We claimed that we have the experience in mountain climbing.  However, no one of us has climb Mt. Tahan Before.  Thus, it just like a black hole for us, where we just hear from others people and do a lot of guessing on the "Mystery"  of Mt. Tahan.  Because of this, it is hard for us to determine how though was the Mt. Tahan?  How much training only can considered as sufficient.

I know that more training will enabled us to be easier when come to reality.  Nevertheless, over training may make us too tired and suffer.  Our training schedule have been setup 3 months before the expedition.  During the period, we have come out with the activities as follows:

     PHYSICAL

  • Physical training such as jogging, physical fitness training.
  • Run staircase on one of the 12 floor flat.  We run up and take lift down.  About 2 times a week.
  • Carry 20 Kg worth of breaks and walk to a small hill near our school.
  • Climb on Mt. Nuang, Mt. Angsi, Mt. Datuk and Mt. Gasing.

        MENTALLY

  • Football match with others team
  • Team planning and briefing
  • First Aid practice and motivation course
  • Team work and etc...
