Taman Negara, Malaysia's premier park and the largest in the country extends over some 434,300 hectares of primary forests, more than 130 million years old. Even as early as 1939, conservation was of primary concern. The park was established for the sole purpose of protecting and preserving the flora and fauna indigenous to the area. Located within the park is Peninsular Malaysia's highest mountain, Gunung Tahan (Mt. Tahan), 2187 metres above sea level.
In year 1991, before the form of SKS society. The team under the name of Scout Association and Sek. Men. Sri Sentosa (KL) has organized the expedition to Mt. Tahan. The team consists of 10 members and this is the history of the school, where for the first time our school flag reach the peak of Mt Tahan.
The team have do a lot of preparation before attending themselves to the challenge. We have accompanied by 2 experience teachers and full support from all the school students. Our principal Mr Phua has purposely motivated us and gave us encouragement.
