F16. What were Aragorn's thoughts or feelings when he first saw the Sword of Elendil forged anew, and gave it its new name? (Anduril = "Flame of the West")

F17. Gimli only vowed to travel with the Ringbearer "at least to the passes of the Mountains, and perhaps beyond." What brings him to the decision to remain with the Fellowship to the end?

F18. Donated bunny from TopazTook:
Seeing that *yet another* fic about the mad dash to take Frodo from Weathertop to Rivendell has been posted on SOA, I am reminded that I have *never* seen a fic focusing on the *other* hobbits' journey there with Aragorn after Glorfindel left them behind. Will someone please write something focusing on this journey -- preferably, for my tastes, of course,, featuring lots of angst and perhaps some Pippin injury or comforting as well?

F19. Somewhere on the Quest, Aragorn develops a tiny cold. The hobbits, grateful for the attentive care he’s shown all of them, nearly smother him in Shire remedies and advice -- to the amusement of the rest of the Fellowship.

F20. At Weathertop, Aragorn sang over the knife that stabbed  Frodo, then “setting it aside, he turned to Frodo and in a soft tone spoke words the others could not catch.” What did he say? Why did he speak for Frodo’s ears alone? In what language? What did Frodo hear or perceive during all of this?

F21. Merry, Sam, and Pippin find a way to say "thank you" to Strider for getting them all to Rivendell.

F22. Somewhere in Hollin, Gandalf tells Boromir something about Faramir that Boromir never knew before.

F23. As the Company leaves Rivendell with the Ring, Sam reflects on the fact that one of his traveling companions is an Elf.

F24. In Moria, just how does Frodo become aware that he can “see more in the dark than any of his companions, save perhaps Gandalf”?

F25. In Moria, Gandalf gives into Gimli’s keeping the book found by Balin’s tomb; what becomes of it?

F26. Donated bunny from Rabidsamfan:
Frodo in Bree, looking at the three other hobbits asleep and telling Aragorn about the Barrow wight.

Ficlet

F27. Movie-bunny: After the Fellowship forms around Frodo at the Council of Elrond, Frodo no doubt walks slowly back to the pedestal to retrieve the Ring. What are the thoughts of one or more of the onlookers, as they watch this?

Lily the Hobbit; Heavy Burden

F28. Donated bunny from Arwen Baggins:
I was re-reading The Fellowship of the Ring, ‘Three is Company’ and I read this interesting little snippet from when the trio is preparing to leave Bag End, which caught my attention and I just had to share it:

"Sam!" {Frodo} called. "Sam! Time!"

"Coming, sir!" came the answer from far within, followed soon by Sam himself, wiping his mouth. He had been saying farewell to the beer-barrel in the cellar.

How does a hobbit (especially one such as Sam) say farewell to beer?

To Good Fortune

F29. Aragorn finds the elf-stone (the beryl) that Glorfindel leaves as a token on the Last Bridge; what becomes of it?

F30. Movie-bunny: After the Council of Elrond, Pippin confides to someone that his seemingly childish “Where are we going?” was a way to break the tension, and help Frodo to feel better. (OR: Someone approaches Pippin to let him know that he wasn’t fooled by the “foolish” remark.)

This bunny was adopted and raised by:
Slightly Tookish;
Were Are We Going
