1. For those of you who've read The Adventures of Tom Bombadil: In the preface it gives origins for several of the poems, alleging that they were written by Bilbo, Frodo and Sam. What inspired them to write those poems?

MC2. Donated bunny from Endaewen:
“Olórin I was in my youth in the West that is forgotten.” (The Two Towers, ‘The Window on the West’) -- Gandalf says this to Faramir. Olórin is also mentioned in The Silmarillion, which is supposed to be excerpted from Bilbo's Translations from the Elvish. Might Bilbo have known who Gandalf was? How would he have found out?

MC3. Donated bunny from Periantari:
Sam and Pippin have three sisters each. Do they ever talk about what is like to have sisters, or compare living with older vs. younger sisters? Are they irritating? Is it hard to be among so many girls at home? Maybe they discussed this during the Quest? (I think, in fanfic, Sam and Marigold get along best... but how about Sam and May and Daisy?)
