| 30/04/04 - Woodsey - And that's it. The last day of PLANET MORON ever ever ever. Now would be the appropriate time for our farewell statements to the nation, so here they are: Paul's closing document followed by Woodsey's parting address. It would have been unfair to delete PLANET MORON completely, so, as of 9pm, we'll honourably set it adrift on the net - it's all yours now. I also realise I could have gone through every page and changed every 'is' to 'was' (if you see what I mean) but I thought it better to leave it in its current state as a fitting time capsule for our own, peculiar, body of work. That was PLANET MORON. Hope you enjoyed it. 29/04/04 - Woodsey - The penultimate day of the Moron. First, we give you a Top 5 list of all the tracks we reviewed in PM's music reviews, then a PLANET MORON Timeline, so you can see just how we came to be, what paths we chose to follow, what lawsuits we chose to ignore. All this in 2 new indices: A brand new MUSIC Index and a HISTORY Index. You'll miss our generosity when we're gone. 28/04/04 - Woodsey - Today we give you the pleasure of the last ever Carly Rivorrerer with a shock ending exclamation mark and a quick look at the early days of PM in The First Wave Of PLANET MORON. 27/04/04 - Woodsey - Actually, further to the previous message, PLANET MORON will end at 9pm on April 30th, I'll be working at midnight. Only PM could excite its fans by removing THREE HOURS from its final fanfare farewell. (Alliteration, a?) To begin the festivities, I've authored one last adventure with Agents 34 and 45... AND put a whole new index up for their previous deeds. Crikers. 20/04/04 - Woodsey - The rumours are true. With the lachrymose turned up to maximum, me and Paul have decided to announce the imminent closure of PLANET MORON on April 30th at midnight. But don't let your hearts run cold or sour just yet, there are still 10 whole days to go, and instead of setting PM adrift we've decided to give it one last blow-out farewell. Behind the scenes me and Paul have come up with a hearty barrage of last features for the site, all of which will appear here as the final countdown progresses. So, put a smile on your face and party hats on your pets, PLANET MORON is going to go out... WITH STYLE. 16/04/04 - Woodsey - More Music Reviews. The Beta Band are completely great, aren't they? 21/03/04 - Woodsey - I have taken the opportunity of a break in employment to slightly alter the colour scheme of our fair PLANET (apart from this beautiful front page, of course). Where once the pages were light blue/dark blue, they are now a simpler light blue/yellow to make them easier to read against the black background. Links, in general, will be that neon pink hue which antagonises the eyes. In a more tangible sense, I've stapled a new essay to the Sound Board lamenting the forgotten art of Gamesmaster Magazine captions. 10/03/04 - Woodsey - New Music Reviews. 02/03/04 - Woodsey - Since August 2001 my Top 100 has stood proudly in the Entertainment Index. Now, 30 months later, an update has occurred. 23/02/04 - Woodsey - An uncharacteristically swift update of the Music Reviews... Travis, George Michael, The Darkness, Outkast, they're all here. 12/02/04 - Woodsey - I'd be interested to know what you think of Dust And Guitars by d_rradio (click on the audio link under 'listen to songs'). I think it's a satisfyingly hefty montage of computery, industrial bleeps and noises and I like it a lot... but will you, suspense fans? (Hitchcock's got nothing on me.) |
