| Admittedly, this is the first proper peice of writing I've done for PLANET MORON in months (quite possibly years). This leads me to be puzzled by Woodsey thanks me, considering that if I ever added to the site, it was frequently ludicrously unfunny. At best tolerable. Woodsey deserves the thanks here, for not only keeping the site up but also crediting me with things I simply do not deserve. Never fear, though, for the demise of PLANET MORON. Its spirit will be carried on in various forms, forms which I hope Woodsey and myself will work together on. We have very different senses of humour and, although Woodsey tried sweetly to accomodate for my bluntness, the gap was always clear. This is quite probably why I consider him not only a great person to work with - we bounce off each other well. For a man that's had a lot of troubles over PLANET MORON's life, he's kept with it, kept on being bloody funny and, moreover, become one of my very best friends. Hopefully one day we can work on something which will mould our differing views together - something we can ostensibly do for monetary gain. But there's more to it than that. We both love comedy, and hopefully, eventually, both of us will do something we not only love but are also extremely proud of. If Kevin Costner can be proud of The Postman, then why not us in these dog days? PLANET MORON was a good start, and I like to think it's finished well too. The Timeline, in particular, we were in stitches over. But there's years ahead for both of us, and it's time to move on and try and get paid for being this humourous. Thanks. Paul Case, 29/04/04 |
