Here is some of Rich's handi work. He had quite a time with the bathroom on the second floor as the plumbing was very tight, but he came thru with a workable solution.
Here is an electrical switch box in the kitchen. Sure hope I keep all those wires straight..Actually I have the wiring very well documented on the computer, every switch box, outlet box and where all the wires go.
We made a design change in the great room so we drove up to Mancos Colorado to Wind River Timberframes and picked up a beam to span the great room. Previously the plan called for two short beams and a fireplace. It just cut into the room size too much, thus the change. While in Colorado we spent three days in Pagosa Springs. The time off was great. While there we bought all of the lighting for the house.
Here I am sanding the new beam in preparation for a coat of oil.
With the new beam inplace we were able to finish the flooring upstairs.
Sandy and I are both glad that job is done. It was a real challenge but it looks great if I do say so myself. The steps come up between the two short posts. I just finished them but haven't taken a picture as yet.
