Well, I am finally able to get the interior walls started. This is a wall that will separate the great room from the master bedroom.
I even got Sandy in on the act. Here she is using a sledge hammer. This girl is going to have some muscles by the time this project is finished!!!
This is a picture of the ceiling in the kitchen as taken by me lying on the floor. The boards used are 2x6 tongue and groove which were sanded then oiled with a special oil that is also used on the beams. I taught Sandy how to use the miter saw so she cut the boards and I installed them. We are really pleased on how the ceiling turned out. The other side of the 2x6's make up the second floor which will be a bedroom over the kitchen and a loft over the dinette area.
Well we now have some stairs in the garage. The ceiling is thirteen feet high so we have quite a few steps to get to the top. 19 steps to the top.
