I finally got back to adding pictures to the website.  I didn't do much over the winter as it was too cold in the garage to work.  This spring I started to build the kitchen cabinets.  I have all of them finished except for the center island.

This is a view of the stove side of the kitchen which is on the outside wall.

This side of the kitchen is on an inside wall.  The center cabinet does not have any glass in the door.  I am planning on doing stained glass  in those two doors.

Note that all of the bottom cabinets are drawers.  We decided on that so that we would not have to get down on our hands and knees just to see what was inside the cabinet.  It really works out great.  All of our dishes are in the top drawer in the center just accrpss from the dishwasher.

This is a view looking into the great room.  We had looked all over for a microwave that we could mount under the upper cabinet.  Finally found one and it works out real nice
One thing I must admit, I did not make the cabinet doors or drawer fronts.  I ordered them from Walzcraft.  Saved me much time and I think it was less expensive too..

This is a picture of the great room.  Take note of the floor as it looks like wood but is really porcelain tile.  It took me a month to install the tile and grout it.  It is what they call rectified tile which you just butt together with no grout spacer. This leaves a fine line between the tile which has to be grouted.  It was very hard to force the non-sanded grout into the fine space.
