The first truck showed up around 7:30AM and Alan arrived around 9:45AM. They unloaded the first truck and the second showed up while the first was being unloaded. For lack of a better place to stage the timbers we decided to just stage them along the road.
This is a picture of how the floor is preped for the timbers. The posts will go through the holes in the floor and rest on the timbers that Jim's crew installed in the basement.
Here they are assembling the first bent. There are five bents in the main part of the house.
