This, of course, is the stairway going to the second floor.  The wall is painted with Ralph Lauren suede paint.  It gives a nice texture.  I thought the stairway and railings were going to be hard to do but they were not.  I really enjoyed doing them.

A couple of weeks ago I started on the master bath doing the floor and the casing around the doors.  I have installed all of the beadboard and finished all of the tile work.  Sandy found the mirrors on Overstock.com so I didn't have to build frames.  The nice thing about these mirrors is that they have a 1" beveled edge.  I built the cabinets in Tucson before we sold the house and they had been in storage waiting for the house to be built.

This is a typical corner in the master bath.  The color of the tub and sinks is Biscuit.  The wall is painted Cherry Cobbler and the ceiling is a light beige.  The beadboard is Cancun Sand which is a light yellow but with the lighting in the room it matches the tub and sinks.  The tile around the tub and on the  sink cabinets is the same family as the floor but a darker color.  The shower is the same tile as the floor but with small accent tiles the same color as on the cabinets.

Notice that we still have tempoary shades.  We think we are going to use 2" wood slat blinds.
