This is a picture of the concrete pump. The guy standing by the truck is John who does the pumping and he is quite the character.
Greg has ahold of that snake and it's spewing concrete into the forms. The wires with the blue ends are the ties that hold the forms 8" apart. These wires extend through the plywood and a clamp is attached. Pictures 1 & 2 on page 4 show the clamps. Then into the clamps are 2X4's to add strength to the forms. Add the vertical braces and you have a strong wall that will hold the concrete until it sets up. The forms can be removed the next day.
