Character Archetypes

Character Archetypes are the starting point for any character. They give you your starting stats and skills, and give your character some direction. Once you've picked a template, go over to the Character Creation section (still under construction - 5/24/04) and customize your character with additional attribute and skill points.

Each character archetype includes one or more sets of limit breaks and special techniques. In each case, you must learn the lower level breaks or techniques before you can learn the more powerful ones. You must also have a certain level of skill to perform the techniques, that requirment is listed in the AV collum. (Action Value) The particular action value being referred to, (Such as Sorcery, or Weapon Focus) will also be listed.

Finally, there is a weapon upgrade requirement listed next to many of the Limit Breaks. An upgraded weapon is not actualy nessisary to perform the limit break in question, but you will only be able to do it once. Weapons rated lower than the minimum listed next to the Limit Break will be destroyed by the power of that break.

Whenever a secondary attribute has no values listed next to it, on the chart below, assume that it's the same as the primary attribute. In the case of attributes, the first number is the level that attribute begins at. The second number is the maximum it can be raised to at character generation.
