Rouges, scoundrels, and gamblers, the Thief corps of SeeD are the infiltrators and secret finders of the organization. Living on the edge has given them insight into some of the magic surrounding luck, and while fortune doesn't always smile on them, it does so a lot more than it does on their enemeies. That, combined with a talent for light fingers and mimicry makes them perfect spies and double agents.

SeeD sends Thieves in to overhear diplomatic negotiations disguised as servents, to aquire artifacts of power, and to tip the balance of luck when the battle odds are too close for the commander's comfort. Because of their loose adherance to the rules of personal property, Thieves tend to have a somewhat bad reputation among SeeD forces, but they seem to bear this without much effect on their morale. A thief in any particular squad will probably be the trickster and practical joker of the group, and be constantly abusing any good graces he gets from his CO for his odd job status.
