Birthdate: 20th November - she's scorpio.
Birthplace: Wutai
Blood: Unknown
Occupation: Ninja and materia hunter/thief
Weapon: Origami (?), knife, Boomerang
Who is Yuffie?
Yuffie isn't one of the main characters either and trying to get her can sometimes be annoying. She is a Ninja who comes from Wutai who spends her spare time attacking passing travellers on the pretence of obtaining money and materia in order to get her village back to what it used to be. Yuffie joins your party when she meets them in the woods after you beat her in a fight. She can be a bit annoying and doesn�t really act as you expect a typical ninja would, but her weapons look cool and once you get her levels up, she�s a decent person to have on your party.
What the guide says:
�This 16-year-old ninja spent most of her time preying on helpless travellers until she met up with Cloud�s party. Although she is reluctant to join AVALANCHE, her ulterior motives give her reason to tag along, if only temporarily. Her cleaver wit and ninja skills coupled with her selfish ways will either make her a powerful ally or a serious pain in the neck.
Yuffie isn�t one of the strongest team members, but her limit breaks are powerful. Her weapon enable her to attack from a distance without penalty. Keep her in the back rank and outfit her with plenty of materia. Although this tactic will lower her Hit Points, her position in the back rank should keep her safe.�
I wouldn�t give Yuffie my Materia anytime� though she works with it quite well. Yuffie isn't normally a character I�d choose to put in my party all the time but I did use her quite a lot. Her character was kinda cool, in my opinion, but sometimes she did get a little annoying�.
Her Limit Breaks:
Yuffie has some healing limit breaks, but most are the direct damage kind.
Level one:
GREASED LIGHTNING - attacks a single enemy, causing a small amount of damage.
CLEAR TRANQUIL - A blue ball of light surrounds each ally and restores a small amount of HP.
Level two:
LANDSCAPER - She causes a tremor underneath your opponents and cause damage to a group of enemies.
BLOODFEST - Attacks a group with about ten hits.
Level three:
GAUNTLET - Summons a vortex underneath her opponents.
DOOM OF THE LIVING - Kinda like the bloodfest one, except much more damage is inflicted and can be used better against a single enemy.
Level four:
ALL CREATION - she used a huge beam of light to attack her opponents
How to get Yuffie:
First you have to find her in the woods. She can be found in the forests near Junon earlier on, but can be found more frequently in the forests near Gongaga, near the reactor which blew up. When you�ve fought her, the following conversation should take place.
Yuffie: You spikey-headed jerk! One more time, let�s go one more time!
You: Not interested.
Yuffie: You�re pretty scared of me, huh!?
You: �...petrified.
Yuffie: I�m gonna leave! I mean it!
You: Wait a second!
Yuffie: You want me to go with you?
You: � � that�s right.
Yuffie: All right! I�ll go with you!
You: �� Let�s hurry.
And then she�ll come with you.
