Chibi Walkthrough:Pandora: I�m not going to do a whole walkthrough, because I�m far too lazy and I�d sooner spend my time playing the game. You can go out and but a guide book which will be much more use to you in anycase. Even so, this is just some important stuff that you�ll need to know, that you might not find in guidebooks and stuff.
How do you make cloud into a girl?:
Well, you could ask Hojo to do somekind of weird surgery, but I don�t think anyone would like that. To get into Corneo�s, you only need to get a dress and a wig, but if you make the effort and get everything, you�ll get to be Corneo�s choosing for the night. Yay, I hear you cry. So�
The dress: you need to get the silk dress. First go to the dress shop and then go to the bar to find the owner. Ask for something that�s soft and shimmers.
The wig: go to the dress shop to try your dress on. They then tell you to go to the gym. Have a go at the squat game and try to get the blonde wig.
Cologne: Go to the bar and knock on the toilet. You�ll find a woman inside who needs some medicine. Go to the restaurant and buy a meal to receive a coupon and then exchange it for some digestive at the pharmacy. Give this to the woman, and you�ll get the sexy cologne.
The tiara: For this you�ll need at least 210 gil. Go to the materia shop and speak to the man behind the counter. He asks you to go to the hotel and see what�s in the vending machine there. Go to the hotel and pay 10gil for the night. In the middle of the night, Cloud gets up and goes to the machine. Pay 200 gil to get the most expensive one and return to the shop. You�ll get a diamond tiara.
Lingerie: Go to the honeybee inn and outside you�ll find a guy pacing. Talk to him and he�ll give you his members card. Walk into the &$#% room to get the lingerie. When you�ve finished, go to the dressing room and the girls there will apply your makeup for you. Go to the dress shop and put everything on and then go off to Don Corneo�s.
How do you get to the 63rd floor?
To save you giving your hard-erned gil to Hart, here�s how to figure out the password. In each of the libraries, there is one book which is out of place. Read the sign to see what's the library is, and then find the book. The book will be given a number and this is the number of the letter in the book�s title you will need to know. Do this in every library to get four letters and then re-arrange to get the password. Dada! Now you�ve got some elemental materia.
How on earth do you get past that dog in the junon underwater reactor?
Yay yay yay, I've found out now, thanks to FFBoy ^^ and Cid. According to them, if you fail to get the other submarine in the mini-game, the dog moves out the way and leads you to another one. Good doggy.
Tifa�s piano:
At varying points in the game, you need to play Tifa�s piano with Tifa in your party to get various items. The tune is Do-re-mi-ti-la. Do-re-mi-so-fa-do-re-do. Apparently, this is the first few bars of the FF theme tune. The first time you play, you�ll get 1 gil. The next time you�ll get some elemental materia. The last time you�ll get her limit break. The actual keys are: [x] [square] [triangle] [L1+ triangle] [L1 + square] [x] [square] [triangle] [L1 + x] [O] [x] [square] [x]
What�s that sleeping man about?
Simple. If you go to him when the last two numbers in the number of battles you�ve fought is the same (eg 188 or 344), he�ll wake up and give you mythril which you use to get Aeris� limit break.
Where are all the turtles paradise flyers:
#1 - in the little boy�s room in sector five slums. The house nearest the entrance to Aeris� house, upstairs.
#2 - the bulletin board at Shinra HQ. Careful, you only have two chances to get this one.
#3 - at the ghost hotel in the Golden Saucer
#4 - at the weapon�s shop in Cosmo Canyon
#5 - at the hotel is Cosmo Canyon
#6 - in Yuffies� basement.
Argh! Yuffie�s just stollen my materia!!!!!
After this you'll need to carry on towards Wutai, carefully going through fights on the way. She keeps running off each time you track her down, but you can follow her if you�re careful. The first time, go to speak to godo in his house and she�ll appear. The second time investigate the treasure chest in the materia shop and she�ll appear. Next go to the house near the entrance of Wutai and look behind the screen to find her. After that, check the pot in front of Turtles paradise. She�ll take you to her basement and trap you, running off. Escape and walk to the north of Wutai and ring the bell. A door appears and you enter to find Corneo has kidnapped Yuffie and Elena. Follow him and then follow the Turks, looking for Elena. Go to Da-Chao where you'll find Corneo with Rapps. To get through that battle use limits as often as poss and any magical items. When you�ve finished, the Turks will appear and kill Corneo (heh heh - knew Reno had a use.), and then you�re free to go and Yuffie gives you your materia back.
Can I get Aeris back??
No. Ha ha! There was a rumour saying you could, but you can�t since Squaresoft cut that part out in order to meet the time requirements. Apparently, you would use the keycard to get back into Midgar and talk to the guy in the pipe at sector five. He would turn out to be an ancient as well and could bring Aeris back. When you go back, however, you won�t find him. This is was just a rumour though and Square have denied it. If you want to see Aeris that badly though, go to her church in the slums and as soon as you enter, you�ll see her ghost flicker for a moment. I personally don�t think it would have been a good idea to bring her back though, not least because I don�t like her, but it gave Cloud extra reason to hate Sephiroth and the whole Tifa/Cloud thing may have had a bit of trouble if she came back.
How do I get past the fire in the Da-Chao fire cave?
You have to get the Leviathan scales outside the submarine when you track down the huge materia.
What�s the combination for the rocket materia?
I think it�s [O] [square] [x] [x].
How do you get a gold chocobo?
Firstly, chocobo�s are annoying (how many things do I say are annoying?) and take a lot of time so the earlier you start, the better. You have to rent out all stables and get a load of greens. I cheep way to do this is use the w-item cheat to make several green copies. From the area near the gold saucer, capture a couple of GOOD chocobos (these appear with spencers) and from the area near Mideel, capture a GREAT chocobo (these hang around with spirals). Feed these up and then race them until S class (or A class). Breed to get a mountain and a river chocobo using a carob nut. Feed up and then race these until S class, then breed them to get a mountain-river chocobo using another carob nut. Catch a WONDERFUL chocobo from near icicle inn which are friends with jumpings. Feed both the black chocobo and the wonderful chocobo up and race them until S class, then breed them using a Zeio nut (which you steal from goblins, located on goblin island as I remember) and you get a golden chocobo. Feed and race this if you like, because it should win everytime and you�ll get some decent items.
What's the w-item cheat?
Hmm, like cheeting do we? In theory you should have plenty of gil from all the random encounters you've been in to get levels. Anyhow, get in an easy fight and have one of your characters equip w-item materia. Select the item you want to increase first. After that, select a random item to use and then cancel it. The first item number should go up by one. Do this as often as you like, selecting and un-selecting the second item to get loads of things. A good idea would be to not use all of your megaelixirs at the beginning of the game, then make 99 of them later on.
How Do I kill the Weapons?
Argh! Weapons! First off, I think ruby weapon is easier to kill. Just equip one character with all the best stuff and if they get knocked off screan, re-start the game again. The best way to get emerald weapon is to get Cloud up to level 100. Then master all your summons to get the Master Summon materia. Couple this with HP absorb, then couple the remaining KOTR with a MP absorb. After that, add a counter, and a mastered final attack - mastered phoenix combination. Another character with big-guard would be a good asset. Top it all off with a ribbon. Keep at it and use KOTR about six times and you should be okay. If another of your characters has final attack-and pheonix as well that's also useful. Even better if two of your charcters have a mastered KOTR or one has a mime materia. You can string about three KOTR attacks together which is kinda funny, until emerald weapon turns around and kills you. Oh, and make sure one of your characters has good healing stuff. And don't let Vincent have his limit break. Oh, and don't worry about those weird glowy things on the side. They get killed off as soon as you attack with KOTR. That's about it. You'll have to do this battle about five times and fiddle around with your materia settings before you kill it though.
Where do I get all the level-four limit breaks and Ultimate weapons?
Cloud: Omnislash - fight at the battle arena and get 32000 BP to buy it. Ultimate weapon - defeat ultimate weapon itself to get it.
Barret: Catastrophe - go to North corel. Talk to the woman with the green hat in the middle house on the west side. Missing score - on the stairs to the sister ray when you go to kick Hojo�s ass. Make sure he�s in your party.
Tifa: Final Heaven - it�s in her piano. Go and play it a couple of times on disk 3 with her in your party. Premium heart - at the broken weapon shop in wall market in the third disk (you have to get the keycard from bone village).
Cid: Highwind - visit the crashed Gelnika and it�s in the cargo bay. Venus Gospel - talk to the guy looking at the rocket in rocket town and he�ll give you it. Talk to him beforehand and he�ll give you some other weapons as well.
Vincent: Chaos - using the submarine, go to Lucrecia�s cave. Visit there again in the third disk and you�ll find she�s gone and left behind this. Death penalty - Lucrecia also left this behind in her cave.
Yuffie: All Creation - Godo gives it you after you defeat him in the pagoda. Conformer - this is also in the cargo room in the Gelnika.
Red XIII: Cosmo memory - this is in the safe after you�ve killed Lost Number. Limited moon - After you�ve taken Bugenhagen to the Ancient�s City, visit him again and he�ll give you this.
Cait Sith: Doesn�t have a level four limit break, but you can pick up it�s HP shout when you go back to Shinra HQ. It�s in the locker room, and you may have noticed it the first time you visited.
Aeris: Doesn't have a ultimate weapon for a very good reason. You can get the limit break, Great Gospel by giving the weapon seller some mythril, but if you ever get to use it, I�ll give you my save where I�ve killed the weapons and mastered all my materia. Or I would have done if my brother hadn't lost it... Grrr...
Where is the final attack materia?
You can get this by fighting lots in the battle arena at the gold saucer. I think you have to get 32,000 bp for this one. Remember not to leave before you cliam your prize, or all your points disappear. Buy lots of healing stuff before you get in there and cast stuff like haste, since it's only Cloud fighting.
