So finally I got the chance to hear these highly praised Italians in Lacuna Coil and what do I hear?�some sleazy radiopop whit no tempo in it. Lacuna Coil is the new gothic hope and if this is the future for goth music I�m afraid that the scene is dead. They try to get an mystical atmosphere with female vocals, keyboards and heavy guitars but everything feels so lame to me. The only thing that is something that you could call good is the track �When A Dead Man Walks�, with some male vocals and heavy pumping riffs in the chorus. If you want some good gotic metal go and buy Beseech�s �Black Emotions� or something whit Paradise Lost instead.
