U.D.O. "Live From Russia" 8/10
YES! U.D.O. is back with an live album which is recorded during the Holy Tour. I saw him two times this tour and if this album is twice as good as the shows it would be a killer. With these expectations I put the CD in my stereo and...DAMN!...its heavy metal as its finest and with songs from both U.D.O. and Accept there can only be good songs on this double album. 26 tracks including two ballads and tracks like "Midnight Mover", "T.V. War" and "Winter Dreams" from the Accept era and "Metal Eater", "No Limits" and "Living On A Frotline" from the U.D.O. camp to mention a few. An great production, an drum solo, guitar solos, classic parts and even som russian folk music between "Living On A Frontline" and "Cut Me Out" gives this album more than just the classic songs. Ok, there is some overdubs and cuts but that doesent matter this is still an killer album. If you dont like either U.D.O. or live albums it time for you to think again because this is more than an live album, this is an documentary for heavy metal. -Uffe

U.D.O. "Man Or Machine" 2002 8/10
Mr. Dirkschneider and his longtime friend Mr. Kaufmann have done it again, an album full of Heavy Metal-riffs and sing-a-long choruses. Udo the singer and Stefan the drummer, now on guitar, from Accept know what they do best and they do it great. It starts with the title track Man And Machine, its so damn heavy that I cant wait to hear it live, there is even an duet with german metal queen Doro Pesch Dancing With An Angel. Other favorites on the album is Animal Instinct, Silent Cry, Like A Lion and Black Heart. All in all its another great U.D.O. album but I liked the last Holy album better, but its definetely a buy. -Shad
