The Xbox gamecube and Ps2 are all coming into the last years of their life. The Ps2 outsold it's rivals this time round and sony are now for sure the leading games console makers with their ps1 and now ps2 winning the market over twice. Rumours that nintendo were going bust a while ago because of gamecubes bad sales were laughed off by the big N - 'we make so much money from the gameboy it doesn't really matter how well the gamecube sells' they replied. So sony have decide to release their own console; the PSP to take a share of the profit from handheld gaming that Nintendo had. The N-Gage failed but the PSP looks a much more worthy nemesis of the gameboys. However Nintendo have brought out their new handheld; the DS. It has a microphone, a touch screen and is cheaper.
