| The Playstation 3 is going to be the most expensive console available with the cheaper, 20 gig version about �325 and the 60 gig version albout �500. The PS3 will look to reason this with its 7 controller ports, six USB ports and brilliant graphics among other things.There is also a few decent games coming to the PS3 with games such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and Visual Gran Turismo. Keeps the four controller ports but takes online play to another level, this will suport video chat via camera and will also enable you to play games such as Gears of War and Perfect Dark Zero in massive online games. It also has a completely new look where we see the black scrapped for a more 21st century effect in the silver. Many developers have already started making games exclusively for the XBOX360 as no other console currently matches it. This will see the XBOX360 already far in the lead when the Wii and PS3 come on the scene. The XBOX 360 is the console in between the PS3 and the Wii. It is cheaper than the PS3 but more expensive than the Wii. This could be key to the XBOX 360 winning the war or could see the unoriginalness of it cause it to become another Dreamcast. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Codenamed revolution as Nintendo plan to revolutionize gaming and attract new customers. It was later, controversially renamed Wii to symbolise that this is a multiplayer console. It features a unique and original control that could leade to new, interesting gameplay and has this advantage over competitors. Also, the Wii will have the ability for the player to download NES, SNES and N64 games as well as being backwards compatible with Gamecube games. The Wii also has the strongest release list of games with a new Metroid Prime, Super Smash Bros and Super Mario Galaxy to come. This will be the cheapest console but may have the worst graphics.
