At a recent gig in the Highlands of Scotland Dannii premiered new album tracks, "Mystify" and "Nervous" Dannii has signed to WEA London Records and has had Roger Sanchez working with her on her first album on the new label.This 5 album deal at a reported upfront deal �1million. WDYLN is now in the German and Dutch charts. In Australia in it's up to No.16. "The SUN" paper claims she is the new Kylie Minogue!I take it there was some irony there. Congratulations Dannii "WHO DO YOU LOVE NOW" is her biggest ever hit: No.3 UK (Request it on the Box (103). It has sold over 200,000 copies in the UK alone. Dannii is rumoured to be liasing with Roger Sanchez over her next single release!! It has already made musical history though:The song has hit the top of the UK Club chart this week, and sister Kylie was at the top of the UK singles chart, a sisterly dominance no less. Back to Dannii..having finished her part as "Esmerelda" in Notre Dame De Paris in London she went into a 7 day fill in of the acclaimed play "The Vagina Monologues". Dannii took a break and is now back promoting her new single. She has appeared on BBC's "Star For A Night" as a judge and she looks fantastic. A recent performance at the now famous G.A.Y. nightclub in London it seems 2001 could see both sisters reach new dizzier heights to there already record breaking careers. | Danielle Jane Minogue Biography There's always been something about the youngest Minogue. That bit feistier, that bit more determined and those dauntingly alluring blue eyes. Dannii has always planned to be a star before Kylie and it was dannii who rose to fame in rical Australian soap "Homw and Away" which gave the UK it's first proper experience of dannii. Like Kylie's character "Emma Jackson" proved to be a tough cookie and endeared her to many. Dannii had always dreamt of musicals and the stage though and she didn't stay long in Australia before coming to the UK. Clutching her "Best TV personality" award from 1989 and the experience of owning a fashionable sell out clothes line, she tried to follow her sisters footsteps to the top of the charts. A string of top ten hit's followed until a move towards the stage became possible. "Grease" toured Australia and won Dannii a best actres gong for her portrayel of "Rizzo", which then led her to a brand new and somesay outlandish version of "Macbeth" in Scotland. A firm believer in the close bond between her and her sister too. It has served both parties sucessfully in creating there own support system when things have not gone so smoothly. Danni has been married and after just 18mths a divorce from fellow Australian Julian Mcmahon led Dannii into a state of re-evaluation. Currently dannii resides back in London after a two year romane ended with Jacques Villeneuve. Hopefully in 2003 will see a new album and follow up to the fantastic GIRL CD. |

| NEON NIGHTS is a completely superb album, full of electronic beats and cyberfunk disco beats. The album includes the four released UK singles, Who Do You Love Now (UK No.3), I Begin To Wonder (UK No.2), Put The Needle On It (UK No.6) and I Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling (UK No.8). The four singles made it Dannii's most successful chart history to date and firmly cemented her into the musical history books alongside big sis Kylie. Danni iis currently finishing her new album after leaving London Records along with many of the producers from Neon Nights. I am very excited about the new album, the buzz around Dannii has never been so strong, and I played the Neon Album all over Australia whilst I was travelling there, it's one of my prized possessions. My top picks would be: Creep, On The Loop and It Won't Work Out. |

| FantasticSingle ..."You Won't Forget About Me" ALBUM TBC!! Autumn 2005 Was released 25th October. The single cover is (left) and this will be lifted from her brand new studio album due for release in the uk early 2005. Dannii is a very busy girl doing lots of promotional and charitable work and way too much for me to write here. It is far better to sign up and receive her fantastic and informative e-newsletter with pictures from her diary. She really is so focused on her fans and when I read the emails I am always amazed at how detailed they are! The new single is her best in a long time and is deserving of a top 5 come Sunday. I am still enjoying listening to Neon Nights though and the many singles and dance beats it offered. I cannot relay how great the album is to listen to on your way out or on a night in! It was produced brilliantly and is ultra sexy and for the first time lifted Dannii into a superb dance act and not a pop singer! |
