Importantly the early release of information has been praised by many and the diagnosis suggests Kylie will recover very soon, like Olivia Newton-John and Anastacia before her. | KYLIES LAW The Newspapers have been full of coverage regarding Kylie's treatment for breast cancer in Paris since June. News of operations and chemotherapy along with the public pictures of her hairloss covered by scarf. It is all at times hard to see the wonderful woman battling through a disease which does not discriminate. There is though positive news, Kylie's dignity has helped rise the amount of checks for woman under 40 by up to 40% in the Uk and Australia. There is now a swift law due to be passed to reduce the mandatory screening age from 50 to 30. Kylie decided to release a superb dvd of the Showgirl tour - She is fighting to be back on stage by November 2006 and with an updated package for her home audiences - who failed to see the tour due to the cancer affliction. Minogue stunned by reaction and appreciates support.. Kylie has expressed her greatest thanks to the support and message of love she has received. This has been quite a shock for everyone. Kylie had used her image and beauty for so many years, her down to earth nature and iconic status has added to the fragile nature and the vulnerabiulity of everyone to this disease. "My heartfelt thanks to the incredible number of people who have sent messages of love and support over the last two days. I want to reassure you that I am being well taken care of. Olivier is by my side abd I have alot of family and friends around me. I would also like to extend mybest wishes to all of the other women around Australia and around the World who are dealing with the same illness." | Showgirl Tour Postponed Kylie Minogue had to postpone the Australian and final leg of the Showgirl Greatest Hits Tour due to ill health. In May 2005 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. At just 37 this young age for the disease meant the cancer was strong and needed two operation for two seperate lumps to be removed. Kylie has finished her treatment and is now in remission February 2006. It has been mentioned many time by her she will finish the tour when she is fit enough. It looks like December 2006 Australian fans will get to see the show in all its glory. Never one to sit back kylie has a few surprises in store to keep things up to date and fresh. We all know how many artists seem to have been studying Minogues videos and tours of late!
