This page is a kiosk for my Spiritual journey.
In his word, God through his Spirit will lead you into understanding of:
  • Who He is
God has revealed himself in Scripture. There you can see his nature and how he interacts with us.
Many of the arguments against God come from a description of him that is NOT contained within the pages of the bible.
For example ( If God is Good and Loving then why is there evil. Why is there suffering. Check [
Equip.org]. God is MORE than good and loving.
You can also get an additional understanding of him in the names he is called in Scripture. [The Names of God]
  • Who you are
Do we truly believe we are Good?
Is there any doubt that the 20th century was the most violent of all time? Do you think the 21st century will be better? Well, not so far.
So much for the onward and upward transition to THE perfected society. But we still try.
Note that WE are those people in New Orleans after the hurricane. Those folks are NO different from the rest of us. If you think that your neighborhood would have handled the storm better, you are sadly mistaken. I am sure the folks in New Orleans coffee shops spoke with grand eloquence of how they would behave in the shadow of the earth quake / tidal wave in the Indian ocean.

We have built several institutions that attempt to modify our behaviors.
Schools have moved from the impartation of knowledge and skills to allow the free exploration of the world through knowledge and wisdom, to the process of specifying and instilling behavioral patterns. The problem is that they don't use absolute values or standards. And indeed, they don't accept standards. Their values are fluctuating societal norms as the Supreme Court's Kennedy indicated in the phrase, "The Evolution of Law". And the kids are catching on. However not as the pseudo psychological manipulation crowd would like. They are becoming Nihilists by abandoning all values and entering into a barbarism that will eventually destroy our society.
Don't believe it? Just walk through the hall ways of your local High Schools. Mind the metal detectors and the in house police staff. You will hear foul language and abusive talk. And you will know and understand that the events at Columbine High School will occur again, maybe in your town.

Governments to legislate our interactions. I hear the statement "you can't legislate morality". What then is legislation? It is the imposition of one group's values on another. Can you legislate immorality or even amorality? Hitler did. And we have too. The Supreme court has re-interpreted the 4th Amendment in reguard to property rights. Now if a business wants to take your home, they can. As it will increase revenue to the government through sales taxes then it must be good. What were they smoking.
Governments also manage commerce between people. The Laws keep coming to regulate us because we are not there yet. But better stated, we are incapable and unwilling to regulate ourselves within ourselves. But that is what Freedom is.

Legal systems of Police and Judges to act as the referee of our behaviors in relation to the laws and layers to even speak for us rather than defending our own actions. The system is now just adversarial. Searching for the truth is not what it is about. It is about winning the case. Prosecutors are measured by their "The conviction rate". Justice is missing.

We have also attempted to build governmental systems to "take care of us". Social security for retirement. However a person living Social security alone, lives in poverty.
Medicare and Medicate for health care. However every socialized medical system in the world is the poorest method of keeping people healthy.
The Food and Drug administration to test those substances we ingest for safety. However the testers and administrators are proven to be pre-employees of the Drug companies.
FEMA to protect us from the accidental and environmental devastations that occur from time to time. However their preparation and subsequent support during the hurricane Katrina event demonstrated they are unable to do that job. Even with the state of the art forecasting available to them.

What is wrong with society? I am. And truth be told, if you were honest about, you too are to blame.
We now live by preference rather than principal, purpose and responsibility.
  • Our relationship with God
God owns the universe, it is his. He made us, he loves us, he wants a relationship with us, he wants the best for us.
It is not a matter of him oppressing us but rather he is our protector.
In view of his care for us, the method we use to receive good things is to live our lives his way.
(It is easier to walk on the path than in the ditch
He found that he needed to do something to rebuild and restore us to him. Distinct from our unaided desire to so. As the ultimate moral head of the universe, he can't let evil slide, (that would be bad). Any violation requires the death of the violator. So he paid that penalty himself. So that we might become the righteousness of God "In Him".
  • Where from here
God Loves you. He has given us a heart for him and He has given us his word to lead us to him and guide us along the way.
Focus on the Word of God. It is what the Bible says and NOT what the people say it says.
    Listen to good Bible teachers.
Seek the truth by investigating the reasons for believing. (SEE FOR YOURSELF).

1 Chronicles 28
And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

Your attitude has a lot to do with this journey. Do you need a savior?
In Matthew 16:24 you see.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

So which of these denies himself.
Luke 18:9-14
He [Jesus] spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men--extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.'

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!'

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

So many persons outside the church identify persons in the church as Hypocritical and Judgmental.
These two indictments are painfully true. But if the attitude and declaration of 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' rings in your heart, those accusations have no weight.
Pray that God will make that happen in you.

The Roman Road

Romans 3:10-12
As it is written, There is no one who is righteous, no, not one: There is no one that understands, there is no one that seeks God. They are all gone out of Gods way to their own way, they are together become unprofitable; there is no one that does good, no, not one.
Romans 3:23
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8
But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10
Because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Titus 3:4-7
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of re birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Psalm 103:9-11
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Joshua 1:8-9
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth: meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 24:15
And if you be unwilling to serve the Lord, Choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Proverbs 3:1-7
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest in your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 22:36-40
Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?. And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your god with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.
Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God--not because of works lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Psalm 37:1-6
Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
Micah 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
I Samuel 3:21 Read the Word
And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
